An error occurred while saving the comment I agree with this suggestion. My thoughts were ( I think the same as the original poster). Below posted speed would be normal. I would then like to set a range (adjustable from 0 - 10 miles over) that would be green. Over that value would be red. That way we old guys don't need to try and see if we're only over by a few miles (I would set mine at about 5 over) because if the color is green, I'm good.

As a GUI programmer, this should take but a few minutes of programming time. You already have the logic to identify the speed limit and current speed. Add a couple of variable based on each and you're there.
