i can see your point but it is also a way of getting an idea of Wazer traffic. If the Police Report Icon could be grouped in to one if within a certain distance then both concerns woud be addressed. Having said that we would need a response from Waze to know the answer.

The answer is simple but Waze here in Australia seem to be slow on the uptake to change.
The answer is to treat these Trailers differently to the normal Speed Checks.
In Queensland Australia we have the Police Unidirectional Speed Camera, the Transport Department Acusensus Bidirectional Speed Camera and the Transport Department Acusensus Unidirectional Seatbelt/Phone Camera.
If these were acknowledged by Waze and Wazers were able to report them the problem would be solved.
Waze also needs to acknowledge that there are huge areas in Australia with very few Wazers but these areas are being treated the same as the Motorways etc.
Simple solutions are availabe but the problem is getting through to Waze and any action forthcoming.
I hope they take notice of your comments and Good Luck.Guy MacDonald supported this idea ·

Thanks for your feedback. At this time, this doesn't fit on our roadmap, but we'll keep it in mind for future product planning.

Good idea!
I also suggested to Waze that once a Mobile Trailer Speed Camera Site that we have in QLD had been identified that a grey circle remained on the map as a reminder of a potential mobile speed zone but Waze are very slow on the uptake I feel.Guy MacDonald supported this idea ·

Reports are expiring before they should. From personal experience I have seen reports of Roadworks, Police Speed Checks etc. expire on Waze before they are actually over. Is it possible to expire all reports when a number of Wazers report them “Not There”.
A footnote to this is what happened to me today. We went to Town to do some shopping etc. and reported three different Roadworks. Coming home the three Roadworks were still happening but had disappeared on Waze. I started reporting them again but on the last one I got a Warning for Over Reporting and would lose Reporting Privileges. Please consider implementing this change. -

Apparently 3) is a myth but only a response from Waze can confirm or deny this.
