I totally feel you on missing that route option. I used to switch between “shortest” and “fastest” every trip, depending on mood or gas levels. Losing the “shortest route” filter takes away some control and feels like a small freedom taken away. Have you submitted feedback through the Waze suggestion box again? The more folks push, the more likely they’ll bring it back. Meanwhile, I was looking up delivery-related support yesterday and stumbled over https://amazon-flex.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html
just reading what people say about customer service hiccups — reminds me, user voices do matter. -

Funny enough, as someone who’s driven through early winter icescapes more times than I’d like to admit, I couldn’t agree more—being able to report icy roads on Waze would be a total game-changer. Imagine zooming around sharp corners and seeing a little alert that says “frost ahead”—instant smart nudge to slow down. It's like having a helpful teammate nudging you, especially when speedx https://speedx.pissedconsumer.com/review.html is tempting you to rush past. A feature like this doesn’t just help navigation—it taps into our innate drive to look out for each other on the road. Fingers crossed Wazers see this and bring it to life!

I’ve had the same thought! Customizing Waze for motorhome trips would be a total game-changer. Adding vehicle settings like weight or height could save a lot of stress on unfamiliar roads. I remember being on a tight rural route once and wishing Waze knew I wasn’t in a compact car. That’s when I also started checking alternative travel tools—one time I looked up schedules via https://flixbus.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html just to compare routes. It’s funny how much we rely on tech, but also how a little tweak can improve everything. Here’s hoping Waze brings this feature soon—would love to use it for every journey!
This is an interesting idea: using Waze to report accidents and link to the insurance company directly. I totally get the appeal — when I had a minor fender-bender, I ended up dialing the Availity customer service number https://availity.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html through my insurer and it felt like so much extra friction. So if Waze let you tap “report accident → call my insurer / tag my policy,” it could speed things up. Real life doesn’t always follow our ideal flow, but this kind of feature could make reporting smoother after the dust settles.
