    This would be helpful. Maybe add the option for custom tile overlays. Google Earth app has this feature. This solves the issue of all the users who request custom map overlays, such as weather, rest areas, mile markers, temperature, bridge clearance labels, county boundaries, more prominent international boundaries, etc. Country specific requests would be solved.

    Users could subscribe to overlays from third party developers. Better yet, offer a marketplace directly in the app that users can subscribe to and developers can offer overlay options.
