We all have that struggle of choosing between the the cool voice that our kids created ( or one of the promo celeb voices) and Jane with street names.
By now we all know that " in 300 feet turn Left on Main Street" Is really 3 separate files "in 300 feet" "Turn Left" " On Main Street"I would love the option to enable computerized street names with my special voice option. I have asked around about this. Most people would be ok with the knowledge that the street name would not be in the Celeb or custom voice. Adding a toggle option to " include computerized street names with custom sounds" Would enable users to choose that.
For myself, I love hearing my custom voices but feel much safer driving with street name enabled voices.
Whats in it for WAZE? Increased revenue from increased use of sponsored voice files. Safer Drivers, more users. more revenue.
Android Auto Does allow a light version of Waze. Apple Car does not. I Have an Android so I am fine but...
That said the Android auto version is light and you can not get back the original on the phone. small things like "Send ETA" are missing. WAZE please update this to a fully functioning version.
