An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThe "traffic at a standstill" type icons should be removable by others, much like the reports of police and vehicle on shoulder. I have sometimes re-routed my trip only to find it wasn't necessary. And at other times, ignored the warning due to lack of good alternatives and discovered there was no traffic tie up after all. You don't want those congestion alerts to become false alarms.

Yes I see others on this topic, but I am not asking for complete navigation. I am using Waze while riding my bike (best dark streets are easier to see than with Google or Apple). It died the job I want without more coding. The problem is Waze automatically flags the side streets I have used as having “Slow Traffic” with a nine mph warning.
I assume that will drop off in time, but I feel bad generating erroneous info. To fix my problem, all it needs is a switch saying “I am riding a bike”. What that does behind the scenes is turn off that self generated slow traffic warning. Not so complicated as other suggestions.
