SPLIT: Route options
make it easier to see which route is the most economical and which is the fastest. Sometimes I wanna drive economically but it’s harder to see which route is lowest miles.

Allow users to confirm alerts only if they are near it or have passed it in the last 2 hours
I was checking a route before starting to drive and accidentally confirmed a alerts that are impossible for me to know of. Being able to cancel the confirmation would also be good.
Maybe internally there is a score of certainty based on data about the users making/confirming the alerts?

Consultei o percurso de A até B, e uma das rotas sinaliza 22 min.

Speed limit picks up and drops down
I’d like it if waze alerts you of when the speed limit picks up ahead of time not at the last minute for example if you’re on a back road for example let’s say the speed limit is 40 and it picks up to let’s say 50 that way people aren’t tailgating you the whole time and I would really like it if waze says when the speed limit drops at every location spot when a sign says reduce speed ahead for example on Wootton Parkway going towards Rockville Pike Maryland 355 over by Edmonston Drive that would really help…

Hazard types needed
We have a lot of veld fires either directly alongside the road, or where the smoke from a nearby fire blows across the road. The closest hazard type to this is fog, which is different, because flames on the shoulder are as much a hazard as the smoke causing poor visibility. It would be good to as this as a hazard type.
We also have a lot of pedestrians that (illegally) walk along the shoulders of highways & freeways. It would be good to add this as a hazard type, along with which side of the road they're on.

Pothole in specific lanes/ on shoulder and other stuff too
I want waze to say a couple of things
1. I like the idea of knowing where potholes are on the road but I would really like it if it said what lane it’s in and what shoulder it’s on that way I’m not noticing it at the last minute
2. I would really like it if waze said in 1,000 feet turn left or right onto this or that road I miss it when waze says that it would be really helpful for a lot of wazers imo2 votes -

Velocidad al avisar de radar
Al avisar de un radar de velocidad estaría muy bueno que avise también la velocidad máxima que el mismo controla, de forma de no tener que andar mirando el mapa para saber cual es la velocidad máxima permitida en dicha calle.

Please add a “Avoid this road” or “Lock current route” option during navigation.
Please add a persistent “Avoid this road” or “Lock current route” option during navigation.
If a driver repeatedly deviates from the suggested route, Waze should respect that choice instead of continually re-routing them back onto the same road. Drivers often have local or real-time safety knowledge that the algorithm cannot detect.
This would improve safety, especially on narrow roads or blind corners.

We need to be able to inform Waze that the road ahead is closed so it will re route us a different way but not keep trying to take us back that way

Icono velocidad CarPlay
Hay posibilidad de cambiar en la pantalla del CarPlay el icono de velocidad a la izquierda de la pantalla y de paso hacer el icono más grande? Tiene más sentido que esté a la izquierda, está más cerca del campo de visión de conducción.

Apply search suggestion to search bar
Often when searching for an address, its already suggested in the list. However when a slight modification is needed, such as changing the house number, it is necessary to type in the full adress.
Instead I would like to ask for the functionality of applying the search result to the search bar, for being able to modify the search suggestion on the fly.2 votes -

Dog Parks

I'd like to suggest adding dog parks in the "parks" category. In the past it has been difficult to find dog parks, let alone a fenced in park where I can let my dogs free roam.Adding dog parks as a location would be a fantastic feature for so many travelers!

Message:
I am writing to provide feedback regarding the recent change to the pop-up warning banners for speed and red light cameras. These alerts were previously Red but have recently changed to a dark gray/black color in Night/Dark mode.
I strongly urge you to revert these alerts back to Red for the following safety reasons based on driving psychology and neuroscience:
Visual Saliency (The "Pop-Out" Effect): Studies show that the human brain has a "Saliency Map" that scans for high-priority colors. Red triggers stronger gamma-band oscillations…2 votes -
Would be great if Waze could project your navigation though tunnels when you lose gps.. instead of trying to find your location elsewhere
Would be great if Waze could project your navigation though tunnels when you lose gps.. instead of trying to find your location elsewhere. It knows you entered the tunnel and shown you the exit to the, but when you lose gps signal it can’t find you and you can take wrong exits.. also stating each trip should allow you to choose tolls or not..

Integrate Waze with Google nest cameras
It would be great to be able to connect to Google Nest cameras/doorbell through Waze while driving. Presently, if my phone alerts to someone at the door I have to pull over to use my phone to converse with them. If that was possible through the screen on the car it would make it much simpler. I know a number of Waze users that would switch their camera doorbell provider if this were possible with the Google product.

Waze could allow users to delete or under their own reports.
Currently, users cannot delete their own reports once they are submitted.

Can you design an icon for speed humps
Can you design an icon for speed humps. Very dangerous if the speed hump is not properly marked. Especially in South Africa
