1. A car/driver could use some help in 300m

   So many times we see car on the roads, specifically the highway, but we are navigating to fast to stop last minute to help them out. Although many of us would be glad to help out, we just can't stop as we saw them too late. If there was a way people in need could put in a request (sometimes, just not being alone, panicking is already a big help - having an extra fluo jacket, need of water, lift to closest gas station if in the middle of nowhere etc.) that would send an alert "a car is pulled over in 300m and needs help" (probably other wording, maybe more specific would be best), and drivers could prepare themselves to accept (resolve the alert) and pull over on a high speed road or in road in the middle of nowhere - could be a good idea!

2. Contextual road navigation elements

   Waze (so far) does not fully account for overall road context in navigation. We've (ie. my partner and I) have found it treating all roads equally when picking a route, whether urban, rural, wide, narrow, usually parrtially blocked by parked cars, etc. So, I suggest adding a set of options to the system and the navigation algorithm which allows weighting by road type. This could be selected or deselected manually by the user, with some default setting sets (ie. "Prefer Highways", "The Scenic Route", etc).

   Based on roads we've used, we suggest the following classifications:

   Highway
   Fast-moving multi-lane road with significant limitations on stopping and parking, subject to national and regional restrictions.

   Primary Thoroughfare
   Open and readily navigable, with fast-moving traffic depending on conditions. Parking may be significantly restricted.

   Secondary Thoroughfare
   Open and readily navigable, with some parked vehicles or other roadside obstructions not significantly limiting passage. Urban traffic flow may cause traffic jams or be subject to bottlenecks in places. Rural roads of this kind may lack street lighting. Roadside parking may be available based on national and regional restrictions.

   Side Road, Urban Residential
   May be narrow and/or difficult to navigate due to residential parked cars or other obstructions. Parking may be limited and subject to permit. Consider whether parking obstructs residential property access.

   Side Road, Urban Industrial
   Mostly open and navigable, with a high prevalence of industrial vehicles. There may be roadside hazards associated with industry. Consider whether roadside parking may be safe and appropriate if space seems to be available.

   Side Road, Rural Narrow
   May be insufficient for two vehicles to easily traverse side by side and may be a single-vehicle width. There may be very limited passing places. Visibility ahead may be limited due to high foliage or other peripheral vision obstructions. Passage may sometimes be obstructed by agricultural vehicles or livestock. There will be no street lights and parking is likely to be hazardous. May be particularly hazardous to navigate at night or in severely adverse weather.

   Side Road, Dirt Track
   May be hazardous to navigate without use of a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. Conditions may otherwise be similar to "Side Road, Rural Narrow".

3. Multiple nearby incidents

   Waze does not allow for reporting of multiple incidents of the same type in a short distance. If I report a car on the shoulder for example (or if there is already an existing report of said car) and I go to report a second one, if I'm still close enough to the first report it will limp them together. I feel like there should be a pop up saying "there is already report of a car on the shoulder in this area. Is this the same incident or are you reporting a new one?" And then allow me to choose.

   Witam. Uzywam waze od dawna, stracilem jedno konto, codziennie pokonuje min 200mil a zdaza się wiecej, raportuje duzo różnych przyczyn i wypadków, czasem zdaz sie pare roznych w ciagu pare minut a system odraz mnie ostrzega ze za duzo zgłoszeń. Śmieszne. Jak mam byc dobrym wazerwm i raportowac kiedy sa restrykcje. Zrobić cos z tym.

5. Allow us to save additional addresses to our list of people and places that we need to update their locations without searching old messages

   Why can’t you allow us to update others locations when their contact information is missing their coordinates? I’ve been having issues updating my contacts to include their locations yet editing in this app is difficult and fails more than it updates them! If they have sent me their contact that already included their address it’s flawless! But adding it after I’ve created a new contact is not working properly at all!!!

8. someone died today and i could have saved them with waze if waze had a very simple adjustment

   Dear Waze, i am a student driver, today i was on the highway and Waze alerted me that a car was on the side of the road. I saw it but i also saw that the notifcation only said the car was on the side of the road, and also asked to confirm if it was still there ..... I looked at the car, but i was too focussed on driving straight because im still learning, to really look at the car, i was doubting if i should stop to see if i could help, thousands of cars were passing this one car on the side of the road and i was afraid to stop because i never did that before. I went to the gasstation and returned home.... i passed that car again , this time on the other side and i saw...ambulance, doctors, firemen, a white towel.....on a body. Someone DID stop AFTER i passed apparantly.... and they alerted the emergencies but it was too late.... If i stopped and alerted them , maybe a life could have been saved. Waze, i feel terrible, i feel like i am guilty for not stopping and i beg of you, please show on that notification of ' stopped car' a little text that says how many minutes that car has been reported to have been standing still there , the lights were on of that car so i knew someone was inside, and if Waze would have told me, longer than 10 minutes, i would have risked it and tried to stop on the side and i would have checked it and possibly this person would have still been alive. Lets save lives together

9. personalizar alertas favoritos

   Sugiro que cada usuário possa selecionar alertas favoritos na tela de navegação do app. A maioria dos alertas que publico exigem 5 toques sequenciais para enviar, mas, se eles fossem personalizáveis, eu já poderia deixá-los salvos na tela inicial dos alertas, então bastaria clicar no alerta específico da situação e enviar
   Isto economizaria vários segundos de tempo e menor desvio na atenção com o trânsito.

10. Rest stops

    I have no connections with this company but a partnership or integration with the people that created the app IEXIT would be a nice plus. IEXIT shows all the rest stop and the stores available on interstate highways

12. Notificaciones.

    Se podria hacer un modulo que se cargue automaticamente en segundo plano (no el waze completo), y que puedas seleccionar las alertas,radares, policias, o solo una opcion y notifique aunque este el celular en silencio.

13. Never stop instructions until the user click on stop

    On iPhone, instructions stops when we are close to the destination or when we go too far !! This is almost dangerous. Instructions should never stop until the user click on "stop".

    Sziasztok,
    Sokszor használom az alkalmazást, ami segít elérni a célba, elkerülni a dugókat (és a rendőröket ).
    Az akadályokat be szoktam jelölni, vagy visszajelezni. Ehhez kapcsolódik a javaslatom: a lassan haladó karbantartó gépeket külön kellene jelölni, mert egy idő múlva látszólag megszűnik az akadály, pedig csak arrébb mentek. Célszerű lenne, ha ezt a gép kezelője tudná beállítani a telefonján, így biztosítva lenne a mindenkori pontos pozíció is. Esetleg ezeket a jelzéseket nem is kellene/lehetne visszajelezni, törölni. A jelzés törlését csak a gép kezelője tehetné meg, esetleg egy beállított idő után automatikusan törlődne.
