Check in after navigation
It would be great if the app asked if it got you there correctly and if there were any difficulties in the suggested route. Things like closed roads, detours or difficult turns are hard to report.

Scottish female voice
I like to use various spoken languages to improve my understanding of a dialect. The most difficult English to understand, for me, is Scottish — so I’m looking for that. Preferably in a nice female voice.

Atualmente, nós usuários do Waze só podemos atualizar os preços dos combustíveis quando estamos próximos ao posto e via aplicativo. Gostaria que fosse ampliada essa funcionalidade para o Waze Map Editor. Com isso, seria possível contribuir com informações de preços mesmo à distância, melhorando a precisão dos dados e ajudando ainda mais a comunidade, além de informar quando postos estiverem com preços defasados. 🙌

App shouldn't close simply because I turn off the screen
This not an idea, it's a complaint.
I enter a route and it maps out.
Seconds after I turn off the screen, the app CLOSES.
This issue started last week.

לאפשר למשתמשים, לאחר קבלת המסלול, לסמן כבישים או קטעי דרך שהם מעוניינים להימנע מהם. לדוגמה, אם המסלול מציע נסיעה בכביש 6 ואני מעדיף לא לנסוע בו, אוכל לסמן את כביש 6 ככביש להימנעות, והאפליקציה תחשב מסלול חלופי.

Stop navigation once you're "close enough" to the destination
Waze should have an option where it stops trying to re-route once you're close to the destination, especially when it is not possible to actually drive to the exact entry point for whatever reason.
Context:
I've got someone who has brought up routing issues to their destination a few times, and at least two or three local editors have made various changes. They now again have been saying that once they arrive, Waze wants them to exit the parking lot again, and make a huge detour just to return again to where they are already located.

Android Auto - Arrange Display based on left or right hand drive and Icon Size and Speed
To save the person stretching to the other side of the screen to click an icon. If you have to stretch to reach it may impact your driving direction, and how long you need to look at the screen for.
For me the Reporting something panel appears on the non-driver side.
Adapt the screen so that icons you click on are always on the drivers side.
When half screen mode, you can not report anything anyway, so consider also making, bigger icons and going through two panels may also be better.

Screen orientation lock + bigger buttons in motorcycle mode!
Need Waze to add a screen orientation lock option in the map settings. This has been suggested for years in the community feedback chat, and has been ignored. It is now a safety issue when riding a motorcycle. Because of my bike's design, I can only mount the phone horizontally. Even when activating auto-rotate in my phone's settings, Waze will switch to vertical after tilting or when the screen goes off. Trying to use and see the map vertically while riding is dangerous, distracting, and wildly irritating when I hit the wrong button. I have nearly gotten into an accident…

Electric Scooters
Add Electric Scooter support, so it suggests best paths considering the speed limit of your model , and the local laws like going on pedestrian only roads, might work very good with bikes and e-bikes navigation.

Throughout NYC's 5 boroughs, school zone speed cameras are enforced 24/7. They automatically send you a ticket if you go 11 mph over the speed limit. I usually don't speed, but 36mph in a 25 is very easy to do. It would be EXTREMELY helpful to have a "School Zone" category/alert from Waze.
