Partnering with Uber or Lyft or both
When a customer on the road, had a problem with the transportation, can provide immediate help.
How:
If any customer on the move and unexpected stop for more than 1 or 2 min on any road side (not in any parking lot, …), we can ask them, if they need any help like “Car Problem? Need a help with?”
Choices can be “Need a Ride” “Inform Police/Medical” (optional)
“Vehicle Problem” (another option to expand the business with AAA or local services)
This can be added a default service and choice should be given to customer not to, under notifications.

Historical Traffic Data for Social Analysis
I am working in academia and would like very much to analyze social behavior by studying traffic data - example: in case of a disaster. I don't know if you keep historical data; if you do, is it possible to obtain data for an area for a certain date?

Expwy is pronounced “ex-pwee” by Spanish voices
Can the Spanish voices not pronounce Expwy “ex-pwee”? I’d expect them to say “expressway” with a Spanish accent. You fixed this with “Rd” (it used to say “ere day”, reading the letters).

Normal waze voice but putting the word “the” in front of highway numbers because that’s how people from California talk
A normal, female or male voice that provides normal directions but uses “the” in front of highway name. i.e. take “the” 57 to “the” 101. This is how Californians call highways and it’s really funny to hear the contrast between natives and people that aren’t from California.

Cars with priority to be shown on the map
Hi,
would be very nice if you can start cooperation with ER, FD, police departments and try to place some sort of tracker into their cars. they can share information about their position and it can help to
speed up their road.then it would be very useful for all drivers staying in the crossroad to know and see in Waze from which direction ER, FD, police is coming . then they can free up the way for that kind of cars and there will be not so much chaos on the crossing once they need to pass around.

Boa tarde, gostaria de enviar uma pequena sugestão para equipe do waze, teria como inserir no aplicativo as Áreas de riscos com alertas em cores, EX: Ao chegar perto de uma comunidade o waze emitir ou lançar um alerta em cores, alertando aos motoristas que esta próximo ou entrando em uma área de risco, as cores de alerta seria as seguintes cores: VERDE: Área tranquila, AMARELA: Área em alerta e VERMELHO: Área perigosa, assim deixando os motoristas em atenção em situação de atividades o tempo todo, eu mesmo já fui vitima de cair dentro de uma comunidade.

enlarge buttons & keyboard, to make it user friendly for us left handed people & us girls with long nails.
when you are left handed using your right hand on the touchscreen in the car, you are not as accurate & you slip. same happens with long nails. it's frustrating & doesn't support driving safely.

Less verbose mode (few short instructions)
I would like to have a "less verbose mode" where the voice navigation would just say a few short instructions, like "turn right" for example, without all the verbose stuff like street names; or "speed trap", without all the useless words around it.
The reason is that sometimes I like to listen to music, or audiobooks, or having a conversation while driving, and I find that Waze verbosity is very annoying.20 votesWe plan to work on th Brief instructions Option in the near future. I suggest that you add speed reduction warning to your icons for hazards.
On motorways when there is a speed reduction sign it would stop people braking heavily if they’re aware it’s coming up.

Automatically break up long routes
Waze has a hard time calculating long (several hundred miles) trips, because of all the data it tracks. The solution is to break your trip up into shorter segments. I propose to have Waze do this automatically.
When a very long trip is requested, have Waze calculate the route, then set the person's destination to an intermediate point. When they reach that point, set it to the next intermediate point, etc., ending up at their final destination. This would ease the lag in the app when, for instance, Waze has to re-calculate your 800-mile route. Instead, it would only be…
