Short Cut for reporting police
It would be super useful if you do what is necessary to allow people to create a short cut in apple short cut app for reporting police or other road incidents. It would be safer when using Apple CarPlay or your phone in being able perform that action quicker

Junction/Intersection numbers without active route
I drive on the motorway quite a lot and most of the time I know the way so I won't bother with setting a route.
However it would be great if, without a route being plotted, that Waze would display in the top left "Approaching XX junction"

Reference to a nearby street where the chances of finding free parking are greater
I set a destination on Waze and when I arrived I discovered that it was a main street with no on-street parking while at a distance of 200-300 meters there were plenty of free or token paid parking on the street.
In such a situation I would be happy to receive an offer from Waze when it detects that the destination is on a busy main road and offer a nearby streets with higher chances of finding parking.3 votes -

Accident alert to phone messages or email in real time in a chosen area or district
Hi Waze team
I’m from Sydney Australia,
My staff and I all use Waze for our navigation and we love it.I have a suggestion,
Is there a way to get a sound alert when someone reports an accident or heavy traffic in a certain district or area ?
If we are able to nominate an area of our city that we would like notifications on,
It could even send a text message to our phone
This would be a great addition to help avoid accident or traffic before we even jump in the trucks

To add the Audible App to the listening options while driving.
Hey!
I will like to make a suggestion:
Would it be possible to add the Audible App, to the options to listen while driving?
Hope you guys can add it to the options we already have, it will make me love more your driving app.

Show inbox replies to messages in real time
When a user replies to a message via the app inbox their reply is not shown in the conversation thread until they get another response from the other party involved.
This shouldn't be a chat client but the app should show your replies as soon as you hit the 'Send' button.3 votes -
Deconflict Police Blue colour with road blue so you can see the icon.
Current police icon gets 'hidden' by the blue colour of the road. If the colours were changed slightly the icon would become more visible.

Please allow users to remove Traffic light camera from the alerts.
I live in a town with many traffic light cameras and it is very annoying that I can't turn off that alert. Please make it so we can turn that off.

Possibility to edit destination address
I'm a taxi driver and can suggest the next improvement:
It will be very useful to have possibility to edit address after select it from the list that appears while input the street name. Also it will be helpful to have possibility to edit the address of the current route (sometime it nessessary to change just the street number while driving) and from history list.
No problems if WAZE will recalculate the route after edit address.

Opt out of "is it there?" questions
I'd like to be able to opt out of the questions asking if hazards, police etc., are still on the road. They were distracting and covered info I wanted to see. Think it makes solo drivers less safe

COVID testing center wait time, traffic
I was trying to get covid test for my daughter this weekend and couldn't find out what places didn't have a wait line. Like traffic, I thought this would be a good opportunity for Waze to have people add a Covid testing alert or comment at a site to let others know the wait times. Or for Waze to recognize how many people are heading there? This would be a huge relief to people during this stressful time.

Alert while not in navigation
It would be great that Waze can alert you even if you are not enter the route so if you just launch the app and start driving.
You won’t enter destination and selecting route if you’re driving to work every day but you still can get the ticket for speeding..3 votes -
Requesting roadside assistance
When we drive past a car on the side of the road, we can mark if it's there or not. What if, the person who's stopped, doesn't know who to change a tire or needs alittle bit of coolant to get going?
If it doesn't merit calling a towtruck, they could signal that specific thing on waze. Anyone can pull over and offer assistance, but what if you knew exactly what the problem is and how to help them? You'd be much more likely to stop to help

Anteriormente existia um ícone onde o usuário podia avisar aos demais usuários sobre a existência de radares, fixos ou móveis.
A legislação mudou a partir de 01/11/2020.
Dessa forma o aviso da existência de radares não é ilegal.3 votes -
long distance drives
I just got an idea, it may be stupid but it could be useful. You guys should make it so Waze automatically reroutes you to a gas station or places to sleep for long distance drives. I don’t know if it’s possible for Waze to know how much gas you have but if you could pull it off maybe it’d be useful. Thanks for listening to my 2am idea

Risk when reporting... risks.
My common reporting in Waze is for cars stuck on the shoulder, happy to do it and save accidents.
However, it takes several screens/categories to report a car on the side of the road.
I suggest that upon clicking on the Report button a list of the most common issues will open, whether it is by remembering my common reportings or the community's - and not the lenghty "by category" menu. On dark roads at night, to report a hazard is a lenghty and risky "eyes off the road" task.
