Save preferred routes
I’d love the ability to save my preferred route to frequently visited destinations (such as work, home, or family). Waze often suggests the fastest route, but sometimes I prefer a slightly longer route because it’s easier to drive, has fewer traffic lights, avoids difficult junctions, or is simply more familiar.
It would be great to have a “Preferred Route” option where users can save one or more favourite routes for a destination.

Have Red Light Camera(s) Take Over Traffic Lights
I've seen several users complaining about red light camera(s) not being mapped at many intersections, even though it is mapped (but can only be one-way direction (capturing rear license plates)), it's the traffic lights that are defeating the visibility of the red light camera. I believe users are more used to seeing red light camera(s) displayed on the map, whether it alerts or not when approaching one (like it was before the traffic light rollout), because it also has a traffic light icon inside the camera, making it recognizable as a TL intersection.
This is NOT intended to mislead anyone (even senior editors). It's about some things that users were more used to when glancing at the screen to see where it's located (even if it doesn't alert them for rear license plates), but Waze should continue to say "At/After the light" if turning.

Subject: Feature Request – Vehicle Garage with Individual Preferences
Hello Waze Team,
I would like to suggest a feature that I believe would make Waze even more useful for people who drive multiple vehicles.
Feature idea: Vehicle Garage
Please consider adding a Vehicle Garage where users can save between 3 and 5 vehicles to their Waze account. Each vehicle would have its own saved driving preferences and settings.
For example:
One vehicle has a motorway vignette, while another does not.
One vehicle may have different road permissions or restrictions.
Different vehicles may require different routing preferences.
Before starting a trip, the user would simply select the vehicle they are driving, and Waze would automatically load the saved settings for that vehicle. This would eliminate the need to manually change preferences every time the user switches vehicles.
I believe a limit of 3–5 vehicles per account would be sufficient for most users. Many households own multiple cars, motorcycles, or other vehicles, and some family members also share the same Waze account. This feature would improve convenience, save time, and help prevent navigation errors caused by incorrect vehicle settings.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this suggestion. I hope you find it valuable, and I appreciate all the work your team puts into making Waze better.
Kind regards,

Speed camera continuous alert when speeding
It would be great if Waze could play a repeating warning sound whenever the driver exceeds the speed limit while approaching a speed camera. For example, after the initial alert (about 500 m before the camera), if the vehicle enters the camera zone and goes over the speed limit, Waze could emit a rapid "beep-beep-beep" until the speed is reduced or the camera is passed.
This would be especially useful in situations where the initial warning is easy to forget, such as after stopping at a long red light or sitting in traffic. By the time traffic starts moving again, the driver may have forgotten about the speed camera and unintentionally exceed the limit, resulting in a ticket. A real-time audible warning would help drivers stay within the speed limit without having to constantly look at the screen.

Completely Hands Free
In the UK, it is illegal to use your phone whilst driving. Therefore, I think it's critical that Waze should implement completely hands free reporting and responding. I've finally got the 'conversational reporting' feature, but this still requires me to touch the screen to trigger this. I know Google Assistant used to be a way to report hands free, but this never worked for me on iOS. As said previously, there should be a way to respond to reports hands free as well as reporting itself.

Are you able to put in a feature for Highways agency vehicles, DVSA, VOSA, (UK) as there’s loads of false police reports.
A feature for Highways agency, VOSA & DVSA as there is too many false police reports. As well as a prompt for the new AI Cameras in the UK as there’s currently not a feature for that.

Display Current Neighborhood (Urban) or City / Next City (Highways) on Top Bar
Title: Display Current Neighborhood (Urban) or City / Next City (Highways) on Top Bar
Description:
The Problem:
When driving, drivers often lose track of their general location. In cities, they don't know which neighborhood they are in. On highways, they lose track of which municipality they are passing through or which city is coming up next. The current interface lacks this contextual geographical reference. The Solution:
Add a smart location indicator on the top bar of the map screen that dynamically changes based on the driving environment:In Urban Areas: Display only the Current Neighborhood (e.g., "Downtown"), keeping the screen clean since the city name is already known.
On Highways/Rural Roads: Display the Current Municipality / Next City (e.g., "Passing through: Princeton / Next: Trenton").
The Benefit:
This gives drivers perfect spatial awareness tailored to their context. It prevents visual clutter in the city while providing critical geographic milestones during road trips, all with a single, quick glance.Title: Display Current Neighborhood (Urban) or City / Next City (Highways) on Top Bar
