  2. Update algorithms for common sense

    I travel to work on a 4 lane divided highway. Same car, same route, same phone, every day. I continually get that damned CHIRP as I'm driving 80 mph down the divided highway and it will recalculate, thinking I've somehow made a miraculous 90 degree turn to the right, at 80 mph, and it thinks it has to recalculate my route. 1) how about you put some common sense into your algorithms, that will figure "this vehicle has been on this highway for xx miles, it hasn't slowed down any...so it must not be turning onto the side street". 2)…

  3. Railway crossing notification reduce volume

    The railway crossing notification is a loud ringing bell - make the sound 50% of its loudness. Currently, it's very disturbing while driving because it's incomparably louder than every other sound in the app. (Disabling this notification client-side is not a great workaround.)

  6. Change the algorithm from pushing you back to the original route, when deviating from it, to a new, freshly calculated best option.

    Example: today, I took a bit of a detour, and followed a different route to work. Waze kept pushing me back to the originally calculated, regardless of the fact that I am already almost at my destination. (Finally it switched to a new, logical route from that point, and travel time shortened to 10 minutes from 40.)
    This is not helpful. Currently, if I want to check if there are better options from the one which is being persistently suggested for a long time despite changed circumstances, I am forced to start a close Waze, open, cancel the popped up…

    Hola Waze!
    Primero gracias por acompañarme todos los días en mi camino.
    Segundo, queria sugerir , que estaría bueno que cuando dice "todo listo, vamos", diga por ej "ponte el cinturón, todo listo, vamos", como una medida mas de seguridad.

    Waze es genial, pero esta siendo utilizado por conductores de transporte ilegal, incluso delincuentes para navegar y esquivar controles de tránsito y a los retenes de policía.
    Es una pena que una app tan útil como waze sea aprovechada por los mal intencionados.

    Incluso se esta dañando la comunidad de wazers, en los chats de mapa pueden verse discusiones, agresiones, falsos reportes y demás diálogo que restan y dilatan los objetivos y los valores originales de waze.
    Espero tengan en cuenta lo que esta sucediendo.

    Depuis le 14 octobre, j'indique tous les matins et tous les soirs
    que le passage a niveau est fermé pour travaux (91520 Egly)
    Waze fait toujours passer par ce passage à niveau.
    Je suis déjà venu ici signaler mais aucune modification...
    Est-ce encore un service coopératif ?

    Esse aplicativo está me tirando do sério!! Fica o tempo todo dando erro e me metendo em furada!! Me faz errar percursos, demorando muito mais ou pegando lugares impróprios! Vou parar de usas e alertar aí máximo de pessoas possíveis do que vem acontecendo!!

  13. Would be handy to add hazards and notes on an area you've seen that day not current location

    For instance driving from A47 to Brundall in Norfolk, along Postwick Lane there is a tree 1ft into the road. I knocked my wingmirror off there and so have others as people have passed oncoming vehicles. I saw many glass wingmirrors.

    I've accidentally put this onto Theobald road Norwich.. could this be moved please to opposite Brundall Marina. I'd like to be able to warn others of this without having to be sat there in my car. Can you add hazards to alternative locations please that would be useful.

  16. Use the Highway only if the distance on it is greater than 2 miles

    Is it possible that the app doesn’t suggest me to take the highway if it’s litteraly to use it for less than 0.5 miles

  17. Recognize stops when close enough/stopped/disconnected from Bluetooth

    When adding a stop, I can’t always get to the exact spot that Waze thinks is the destination. So even though I’ve gotten very close, stopped for two minutes, and disconnected the phone from Bluetooth, Waze still thinks I’m going to the first destination unless I stop the drive and start a new one with my second destination.

    Traffic information groups on Facebook are popular. However, members distribute accidents and traffic jams in text or photos. If waze were able to share a congestion, everyone would see a waze instead of text, photos, and the sharing could include exact positions. Last but not least, Waze would also have an advertisement if everyone saw Waze congestion pictures. (congestion > waze > share facebook > Waze pictures+gps position+map congestion)

  20. השיבושים בשמות הרחובות מביכים ביותר, וגובלים בבערות. אני מוכנה לשבת עם מישהו אצלכם כדי לעבור על שמות כל הרחובות ולתקן את הדרוש תיקון. לפעמים

    השיבושים בשמות הרחובות מביכים ביותר, וגובלים בבערות. לפעמים שם של רחוב מסויים מופיע בכמה שיבושים - בכל פעם שנאמר שם הרחוב - בשיבוש שונה. אני מוכנה לשבת עם מישהו אצלכם ולעבור על רשימת כל השמות של כל הרחובות במדינה, כדי לתקן את זה. בושה וחרפה!
