Ability to Create a Custom Route on Waze
I’d like to suggest a feature that allows users to create a custom route — not just by choosing from preset options, but by selecting specific roads or waypoints to shape the path they want to follow.
For example, I often travel between two cities, and while Waze suggests two or three routes, none of them match the one I actually prefer — an alternative road with a divided highway that takes the same amount of time but offers a much better driving experience.

Suggestion to move or remove an icon from the map.
I admit that there is no problem if the phone is in a holder on the windshield. But out of excessive zeal, the police require the removal of the phone from the field of vision. That's why I keep it lying on top of the gearshift console. I really wish I could move that icon. In gears 1-4 it is reasonable to follow the map. But at cruising speed, the gearshift lever is fixed in front of the "road".
I am looking forward to the new update, maybe something will change!

Stop changing routes automatically while I'm driving!
Waze needs to stop AUTOMATICALLY changing my route on me. It's frustrating especially when I chose the non-toll route on the way back. Then I look at the app and it's showing the route I did NOT choose!!

Possible warning for overhead obstruction in areas with low hanging trees?
In the south where there are many oak lined roads, branches overhang the roadways. When trucks come through, it is often that their loads catch these limbs, especially after a rain.

Waze freezes up on everything!
Every time I put in an address, it takes ways forever to populate. I tapped the screen numerous times Once A populates a suggestion if it’s one from my contact it will never update even after 30 seconds of that address of where to go to Waze freezes up all the times on input stage and sometimes doesn’t even get you to the map to go to where you wanna go. This has been happening for over a year now and Waze has not corrected the issue even with software updates and have the most up-to-date iOS on my phone…

Type of place: Motorcycle parking lot
Parking for motorcycles
When I ride a motorcycle, I often can't use paid parking.
The problem is that the entrance gate doesn't open, or I'm directed to a locked parking lot.
I'd like to be able to set whether motorcycles are allowed in the parking type settings, and to map parking lots for motorcycles only.
After all, there's a motorcycle mode.

Do not stop navigation when unplugging from Android Auto
When you unplug the phone from the car, Waze will stop the current navigation and forget the route.
This can happen for a variety of reasons such as making a pit stop, or even a flaky usb port.
If you need to continue the route, you need to re set the destination, and for this you need internet access. If you are in the middle of nowhere with no internet, you are screwed.
Google Maps doesn't forget the current navigation when the phone unplugs from the car. The navigation should be stopped only if the user stops it manually.

Voice navigation instructions based on traffic lights and stop signs.
Apple Maps would say “At the next light turn left” or “At the stop sign turn right” or “Go past this light, and at the next one, turn left” which is very useful and helps me make turns at the right intersection, especially if two streets are close to each other.

Baustellenwarnung abschaltbar machen
Bitte macht Baustellenwarnungen und die Abfrage, ob sie noch vorhanden sind, abschaltbar. Ich muss jeden Tag über die Brücke von LEV. Ich werde 3 Mal (warum 3???) mit lautem PING gefragt, ob die Baustelle noch vorhanden ist. Die bauen dort seit 2014 und planen bis Ende 2027. Ja, sie ist noch vorhanden. Bitte macht das abschaltbar.

Feedback
Why is it so hard to provide feedback?? I just want to send Waze an email suggesting it be easier to look at the map without being forced to schedule a drive.
Not every address I search means I want to start driving there. I want to look at the location first, why is it so hard to just look at the maps without having to pick a route or schedule a future drive?

Icon color change
I don’t like that the Waze icon has been changed from blue to black, when riding my motorcycle it used to be easy to see icon at a quick glance. Love the app! No need to get fancy and change color of icon. Thx
