Improve carpool performance in Brazil
I've been using Carpool as a driver for more than one year now, and it seems to me that the app performance is degrading overtime. Sometimes it is not usable at all, and I have to force close the App multiple times. It is really frustrating for the user's point of view. Every other user I know complains about it. The carpool poor performance is not worth of the Waze fame. Please fix it soon.

Stop the limits
When I tried to report potholes (there were a lot of them), in order to report accurate information to the Public Works department, so they could fix it the issue.
When is this going to be updated, so that anyone can report as many potholes as there are in reality?
It would be nice to be able to have direct contact to Public Works departments as well, so they could know about the issue. The report should stay on the map for everyone to know, until the problem is actually solved (pothole filled up to quality standard specification).2 votes -

English and US voices are fine, but I think having an Aussie telling me where to go (!) Would be great.

En Colombia hay muchos feriados y "puentes festivos" dondo hace muy diferente el tráfico de los Domingos y de los Lunes. dado que Waze puede programar rutas y prever cierto tráfico para la planeación de viajes, recomiendo hacer sensible la herramienta para estos cambios de calendario y así hacerla más precisa. Adding new Report Icons for dealing with "Nanny State" Issues...
Hi,
I have been running a community petition on change.org about requesting local governments for more leniency on some of the more "Nanny State" issues we encounter here in Australia. Such as dogs off leash in parks when the parks are empty or outside hours...
As part of this initiative, the community has now decided that we would also go with an additional new plan B, which is to find out the feasibility of having new Report Icons added to Waze so we can handle those issues please ?

Speed trap
I go to work same path every day, Waze notifies me about same speed trap every day too, can you make a button “do not show again”? Second if ignore thanks click, message stays, it definitely should disappear after 1 min.

Adding report options "Oil Trace" and "Lane Closed" for Germany
I've seen that in Hungary there's the option to report at least a Closed Lane. This is also relevant for Germany. For example a closed lane on a relatively well known route of a driver could be dangerous. He's expecting a certain amount of lanes but doesn't know the newest conditions on road.
So please enable this option for drivers in Germany.The "Oil Trace" report could be helpful as well. Often such reports are mentioned in the radio. It would be a step forward to more safety in Germany and the rest of the world to add this kind…

Delay Map update
I only use Waze occasionally, and far too often when I want to use it I can’t , because it immediately launches a “map update” that takes a LONG TIME DELAY, and I can’t wait that long. PLEASE give me the option to delay the map update until I’ve finished using it NOW!!

When driving on
When driving through a many level street/highway, you should be asked in which level you are driving, since, at this moment, the App can detect you on either level, which leads to misdirections; if asked on which level one is driving, one would get the most accurate directions.

API for OEMs
Publish an API that lets automotive OEMs marry vehicle data with waze functionality. Low gas tank could trigger pop up for nearest station, etc.

Category Icons and Provider indicator in Search Autocomplete results
When we view Search autocomplete results, and even when we view "more" results
* Show category icons, so we can see the difference between a grocery store, a gas station, and a bus stop. This icon could be in the donut hole in the middle of the pin icon.
* Also indicate which are from Waze and which are from external providers (perhaps by putting a blue colored pin for Waze results and a gray colored pin for Google results, for exampleUse case:

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.
We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

A way for Waze to distinguish between travel in express lanes or regular lanes on I-90 (Kennedy Expressway) and similar Chicago area roads.
I would like to see a way for Waze to distinguish between travel in express lanes or regular lanes on I-90 (Kennedy Expressway) and similar Chicago area roads. These are not HOV or toll lanes. Waze will often route me to the express lanes, but the line to enter the lanes negates any benefit, so I bypass and take the regular lanes. Waze, however, thinks I'm in the express lanes, causing navigation errors and headaches. Otherwise, I'm very happy with Waze. Thanks.

music interuptus
i use an external blue too connected to my cars AUX port. It would be nice if if the music could STOP play the WAZE announcement then start up again. I see other notes where they have to hit play again...obviously that would not be a benefit, only if it did it automatically.
