Feature Suggestion: Estimated Time for Each Step in Navigation
Currently, Waze shows the distance for each turn or road segment in the “Next Turns” list. It would be very helpful if, along with the distance, the estimated time to cover each segment was also displayed. For example:
600 m, Modarres Expy → 2 minutes
2.1 km, Resalat Tunnel → 3 minutes
This way, drivers can better understand how much time they will spend in each part of the trip and anticipate which segments might have more traffic or delays. It gives a clearer picture of the journey beyond just distances.

Stop Alterts Reducing - option to turn off familiarity capping
WAZE stores undeletable drive history to determine user's “usual routes”. This history can't be deleted by clearing the drive history in privacy settings. The history stops users receiving permanent ‘driving behaviour’ camera alerts on identified "usual routes" - regardless of user alert settings. WAZE even stops showing ‘driving behaviour’ cameras at all (such as phone and seatbelt cameras) on the map on usual routes, regardless of user alert settings. This is a major fail. When I get into my car with my Car Play connected phone Waze should not automatically open. Google Maps doesn’t open when I get in my car and it is also part of Car Play. Most of the time, I know where I’m going and don’t need or want Waze to open. When asking for a code provide a code
Presently when Waze has been updated or newly installed it asks you to login using email or username, and then it says it's sent a code to the email address.
Reading email on the same phone there is no code, there is a link back to the App.
My employer, using Intune, blocks clicking on links and copy+paste, so having a link makes it impossible to complete the login.
If you say you are emailing a code can you email a code, something I can note, remember and use. I'm unable to use the link, I cannot copy+paste a code…1 vote -
Lower Waze's Age Rating on Apple App Store
Hello Waze Support Team,
I'm writing to suggest that you consider lowering Waze's age rating on the Apple App Store. Currently, Waze is rated 17+, while Google Maps is rated 4+.
Many young drivers and passengers could benefit from using Waze's features, such as real-time traffic updates and hazard alerts. A lower age rating would make the app more accessible to this demographic.

Add traffic like icons to your maps like Google Maps.
Google Maps has traffic light icons on their maps which is very useful when deciding what intersection to use, especially when making a left hand turn in heavy traffic areas. I don't understand why this feature is not offered since Waze is under the Google umbrella.

Speed camera alert distance
It would be very useful to be able to increase the distance at which speed camera alerts are triggered. Currently they are way too short (too little notice) - speed cameras can now detect cars at a significant distance away, and multiple times I've had the alert triggered only after I could see the camera and it could see me (usually on a motorway bridge).
