Add an emergency broadcast system for active shooter nearby
My kids go to a TX university where they have a fairly robust emergency broadcast system for students who opt into the service. They are texted when 'authorities' (there are validation cycles/sources) have determined an emergency situation is in process notifying students of an active situation (either active shooter or lockdown for violent person escape/at large).
I know Waze does have some features with other traffic or EMS emergency notification features, but I think there might be a valid case to use the Government and Public Safety alert systems for people who are within a mile of an active shooter…

Enable the ‘Reports Ahead’ window to update continuously to show the km/miles to the hazard.
Currently, if you go into the ‘reports ahead’ section it will show you the km to the hazard, but if you leave this window open it doesn’t update the km, you have to exit and go back in again to refresh the distance. Can you please provide auto update of distance on this screen. Thank you.

Uso waze carpool diariamente. Vejo algumas melhorias que abaixo seguem.
1 - pessoa cria perfil falso para ganhar dinheiro e não dar carona
2 - driver enviar carona a um rider > carona é cancelada quando uma outra pessoa pede carona e driver aceita
3 - distância/minutos informados não refletem a realidade
4 - opção de quilometragem de locomoção do rider além da informada (área de abrangência)
5 - possibilidade do driver verificar a real localização de onde o rider deseja ser buscado para otimizar as solicitações

Change Dangerous Direction Given by Waze
Near Brandon Florida a direction is given to take Dali Drive to reach Bloomingdale Avenue. If directions are followed and one is turning left, one is forced to cross 4 lanes with very poor visibility! If the app instead directed one to drive just 1 block further instead, the left turn can be made safely with the traffic signal.

Can you write the road name on which you are in that moment at the bottom in between search and sound? That will be very helpful to see which road are you in that moment! Thank you

Waze needs to treat their users better
You bunghole pirates at Waze need to stop requiring access to our address books in order to register. It is low guttersniping to get into our private information. It's back to Google maps for me. I might come back... if Waze ever develops a social conscience.

Auto removal of notifications of police etc
When the pop up comes on the screen it should automatically go away once you pass the locations. Having to touch the screen takes your eyes off the road

I suggest Waze adds a property to each tts term
I suggest Waze adds a property to each tts term, allowing editors to choose, for example, between 'Houston [pronunciation 1 {hues-ton}]' and 'Houston [pronunciation 2{house-ton}]' and so on. One region could default to [P1], while another could default to [P2] but exceptions could be specified.
I'll bet that a lot of what is needed to support the idea is already part of Waze because of the different languages supported. Előtérben marad iOS alatt/Stay in foreground in iOS
Kérem, hogy iOS alatt is lehessen beállítani ugyanúgy, mint az Androidos verzió alatt meglévő “Waze előtérben marad” funkciót! Android alatt futó waze-ben “Általános beállítások/Waze előtérben marad” gombbal lehet ezt beállítani, hogy mindig lásd, hívás közben is. Ez iOS 12.4 alatt futó 4.52.5 verziójú wazeben nem áll rendelkezésre sajnos.
Please be able to configure it on iOS as well as the “Waze stay on foreground” feature on Android! In waze running Android, you can set this with the "General settings / Waze stay in the foreground" button to always see it during a call. Unfortunately, this is not available on wiki…
