Customise alert filtering
I am requesting for more user customisation on what alerts come through
I find the alerts useful however they can get very annoying when listening to music.
The 3 options you currently get are: all, alerts only, silence.
It would be great if I could select alerts for just speed cameras, police etc leaving out speeding & pothole alerts (example)

Traffic Signs and Alerts Urgently Needed in School Zones
Waze needs to integrate visual traffic signs (Stop signs, traffic lights), just as Google and Apple Maps already do. A crucial missing feature is for the route line to change color when entering school zones, visually alerting the driver to reduce their speed. These visual cues are vital for driving with greater caution and better anticipating stops. If the app is updated to include these suggestions, I will give it five stars, and it will be perfect.

Add feature to mark Flock
Get free publicity and raise your stock price ! Post new feature to mark flock cameras and release to press media! When some more Epstein Files are about to get released they might push this to top of the new channel instead of releasing the list to create controversy and distraction and Waze will get so much free publicity and more users will now use Waze. Too many notifications before a turn, can we decide distance before a turn
At the moment I get a notification about 1km before a turn, then about 800m, 500m, 200m. It’s too many. Just a menu item with a list of possible turn distance notifications, and a checkbox next to each so we can decide how many. My own choice would be 800m and 200m, but two is enough notifications for a turn in my opinion. Maybe also a system to adjust these distances depending on my speed. But maybe that’s getting too complicated! But basically give us the possibility to choose.

Speed and red light cameras and other cameras
Is it possible if waze said for speed and red light cameras and other cameras to say where any camera is in 1 mile not in 0.2 miles because that way people would get a heads up and not panic and not slam on the brakes cause that can be dangerous

Hazard Junction
It would be great to report junctions that have frequent accidents due to being hazardous. For example, some junctions on can be misleading and are appear out of almost nowhere. Yes, drivers need to be alert to the road conditions though maps can highlight frequently reported accident areas. We have a junction near where we live which is not obvious that is crosses another (60mph)road until you’re almost on it. There’s been a number of accidents and fatalities here that this feature could help to reduce.

Add Humber bridge status update
To add a notification / alert if you are crossing the Humber bridge to update on wind conditions as some vehicles ( vulnerable vehicles and lorry’s) are not allowed to cross when the wind conditions are too high and other then checking the website or the electronic signs that barely work you have no idea until you have already joined the bridge.

On peut signaler un trafic ralenti voir à l'arrêt mais l'inverse devrait pouvoir être fait aussi c'est a dire que lorsque l'inverse arrive qu'un endroit signalé avec un trafic ralenti et que l'on se rend compte que finalement c'est fluide on devrait pouvoir annulé la mauvaise information, ainsi prévenir les futurs usager qui reprendront cette route, et surtout mentionner à l'algorithme que la route et dorénavant fluide, ce qui permettra à l'algorithme d'indiquer maintenant que l'on peut emprunter cet itinéraire.

Updating Incidents - Not There / Still There After Passing It
Could we enable a feature to allow for confirming whether an incident is still there, but after we have passed the incident, say 500ft after passing it? There is a count down but the option disappears when we reach the point of the incident. The option normally disappears when I pass the incident, and at times I do not have the opportunity (maybe due to safety reasons) or see only when I pass it, after which time it's to late to confirm.

Feature: Predictive Speed Regulation to Prevent Phantom Traffic Jams
Problem:
When one vehicle hard-brakes on a highway, it creates a backward-traveling shockwave. Due to human reaction times, vehicles behind brake even harder — causing a dead-stop jam with no actual obstruction. These "phantom jams" cause thousands of rear-end collisions yearly.
Proposed Solution:
Waze already collects real-time GPS telemetry from millions of drivers. If the system detects a sudden velocity drop, it could instantly push a "Reduce speed to 60 km/h" advisory to drivers further back — absorbing the shockwave before it cascades.

Turn off speed bumps
Make the speed bump notifications that way that people can turn it off, and to be able to turn off from the map also. It is very irritating when you are driving around the city and the speed bump warning pops up every 5 meters. It’s disgusting and annoying. 1. The alert covers up half the screen, and 2. the small yellow icons on the map are annoying as well because you cannot see the street names because of them.

It's very common in Argentina to see multiple alerts at the same location. We tend to have these kinds of issues, and Waze clearly always shows you the most important one, ignoring the other warnings. It would be great if the other alerts had a brief description, no more than two or three words, so you could know in advance what kind of problem there is, especially when it doesn't show the corresponding alert because another, higher-priority alert is active. I've driven over 70,000 km in a year, and you can't imagine how many times I could have avoided traffic…

February 27 driving north thru Wrens, Georgia, I was clocked at 46 in a 35 school zone for an $80 ticket. How can I get this permanent camera, operating an hour before and after school hours, logged into the Waze system?. I can send aa copy of the ticket for your input with location details etc. It's been reported they issued 178 tickets in the first week of operation. Picture of the car but not the driver, is this a legit ticket?

I would like to propose a feature that could help address a growing environmental and community issue in Malta: illegal dumping and incorrect rubbish disposal.
Malta operates a door-to-door waste collection system where residents must place specific rubbish bags outside on designated collection days. Unfortunately, illegal dumping and the use of incorrect rubbish bags have become increasingly common. In many cases especially in apartment blocks or busy residential streets it is extremely difficult to identify who disposed of the waste incorrectly. While fines and regulations exist, enforcement is often ineffective because authorities lack sufficient data or evidence.
