Truck drivers distort the measured speeds. If they were treated separately, WAZE would be much more accurate.
It may be that there's no interest in optimizing the app for vehicles over 3.5 tons, such as motorhomes, trucks, buses, and the like, but drivers of precisely these vehicles still use Waze because Waze is simply one of the best navigation apps. However, these typically much slower vehicles distort the average speeds of users determined by Waze, so it would certainly make the app much more accurate if users could enter their vehicle data, such as weight and size, so that the data can be assigned accordingly when collecting the returned data. Save vehicles
Sometimes I ride my motorbike, sometimes I drive my car. Both have different properties. The car uses diesel, and have highway vignette. With bike, I don’t go on highways, and it uses petrol 95. It would be nice to have an option when I open Waze, that it asks me “which vehicle are you using?”. Then I can choose my car or bike, and it loads in their previously saved properties, so i don’t have to change them one-by-one every time I change my vehicles. Vehicle Type - Van to be added
Under Vehicle Type in Settings, Could there be a vehicle type for Vans that shows the correct speed you can go on certain roads, as in the UK Vans are restricted on speed on certain types of roads like on a national speed limit single carriageway it 50mph for a van instead of 60mph, aswell as a dual carriageway it’s 60mph instead of 70mph.

Description:
Waze currently groups all permanent road features (speed bumps, toll booths, sharp curves, forks, merging, complex intersections) under one setting. This means users can only turn them all on or off.
Many drivers would like finer control. For example, speed bump alerts are often unnecessary or distracting, while alerts for toll booths or sharp curves are very useful.
Please allow users to selectively enable or disable each type of permanent road feature alert. This customization would improve the driving experience without losing important safety information.1 vote -

Ability to pick a route as favourite
For people with anxiety, new roads can be tricky to navigate. The possibility of picking a favourite route to go to your destination, so each time you drive there Waze suggests it automatically, would be great.

Hide “Work” shortcut in CarPlay when not set
When selecting the magnifying glass for an address in Waze on CarPlay, the first two options are the Home and Work shortcuts/favorites, which appear regardless if they have been setup in the app or not. This request is to hide either or both if there is not an address assigned (or have an option to hide them altogether).

Incident pop up animation displacing turn by turn navigation
New UI animation of the pop up incidents are pushing the turn by turn navigation from left to right and making turning by turn navigation smaller. And moves back only after incident has been closed. Turn by turn navigation is the most important among anything on the screen I think and those animations are distracting as they are moving here and there and hard to follow. Please revert back to the previous incident pop up at the bottom left corner blocking the ETA box since I believe ETA is not important compared to turn by turn navigation and it's not…

Waze hazards
The vehicle stoped hazard report should be more complete. As once was: vehicle stoped on the road, on shoulder and on other side of the road. I felt the need to report the discontinued options from time to time.

Caminhao
Boa tarde.
Sou motorista de caminhão e use rotineiramente o app Waze. Porém muitas vezes me vejo em situações difíceis porque o aplicativo me manda para rotas onde e proibido o tráfego de caminhões ou em vias difíceis de transitar com esse tipo de veículo. Algumas vezes o aplicativo me tira da rodovia para transitar por dentro da cidade.
Então venho até vocês (Desenvolvedores) sugerir que seja colocado nas configurações do app o ícone de caminhão e que tbm tenha rotas para transitar fora dos grandes centros evitando rotatórias pequenas e ruas estreitas em bairros.

scooter 50cc mag niet overal rijden, misschien een aanpassing hiervoor?
is er geen mogelijkheid om bvb bij de auto een snelheidslimiet aan te duiden zodat wij als scooters met een maximumsnelheid van 25/45 km/u aan te passen? wij mogen niet op een F3 dus kunnen ook niet de fiets aanduiden en ook niet grote wegen met een snelheid boven de 50 of 70,... ! kunnen jullie dit is bekijken en misschien een oplossing voor vinden?
