  1. Fuel prices - South Africa

    In South Africa we have very regulated fuel prices. This means all fuel stations have the same pricing. The app asking to update prices is pointless. It still asks every time I fuel up.

    Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze displays gas prices in many parts of the world. For more accurate prices, choose your gas type under Settings > Gas stations.

  2. - Include “Avoid hazardous area” as route options.

    We have seen many drivers get into slum areas that are really dangerous, with many episodes of people getting killed when entering on those areas in Rio de Janeiro, for example. I experienced this on other cities in Brazil and, sometimes, I really avoid using Waze because of this.

    Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already takes license plate restrictions into account, in many parts of the world. To enable this feature, add your license plate details under Settings > Car details > License plate.

  8. Routes should default to Map View instead of List View

    Upon setting a destination and clicking Routes, I would like the default view to be Maps instead of List. Please make this an option.

  11. Add Integration to Google Calendar App on iPhone for Planned Drives

  14. Aviso sonoro limite de velocidade

    Com a redução do limite de velocidade para 50 Kms, em diversas vias da cidade de São Paulo, sugiro que o WAZE adote um sinal sonoro, sempre que a velocidade do carro superar os 50Kms, independente da velocidade permitida na via trafegada.
    Recebi diversas multas por excesso de velocidade, muitas por distração, e tenho utilizado outros aplicativos com esse recurso. Acredito que se o WAZE adicionar esse mecanismo, a fidelidade e frequência de uso será ampliada, pois eu, por exemplo, acionarei o aplicativo antes mesmo de entrar no meu veículo (sem mesmo ter a necessidade de ser orientado pelo trânsito).…

  15. location services

    Can you change the location services choices and add "only when using the app" instead of "always"? I love the app but I don't want it continuously running in the bacground draining battery and using data.

  16. Search Results on the Map - Show current location

    When searching for something (i.e. Best Buy) it takes you back to the map and shows all locations. However, it doesn't show current location. When you are in unfamiliar area it is hard to estimate which location of point of interest is closest.

    a law was created that we have to use the low beam on the roads even during the day. I would suggest an in-app notice to kindle the light when entering a highway. Thank you

    Great news! The feature of getting an alert reminder to turn on headlight is now available in Waze (note that this is currently available in Brazil and Italy only). Install the latest app version to check it out.

  19. Zoom button in landscape orientation

    The zoom button doesn't appear in landscape orientation, just in portrait (when users tap the screen). It appeared in Waze's old look, but with the update (some monts ago), developers made it disappear, I can't guess why. Please, bring it back in landscape orientation.

  20. send destination or itinerary from computer to phone

    Hi! It would be nice to send itinerary or destination from a web brower on a computer directly to the Waze app. A Great way would be through the "share menu" extension built in OSX.
