Feature Suggestion: DEER REPORTING
Just like reporting cops, users can report deer sightings so others can slow down in the area to help avoid accidents with deer. Seems like a high value idea to me.

Customizable Speed limit and speedometer size and placement
The current speed limit display on the Waze app is too small, making it difficult to read while driving. Its position in the corner of the screen is often obstructed by the steering wheel or phone holder, reducing its effectiveness. I suggest adding a feature that allows users to customize the size of the speed limit sign and speedometer, as well as reposition them anywhere on the screen. This will improve visibility and accessibility, ensuring a safer driving experience.

Revert to old waze
Not a fan of the new saved routes display. Harder to find what I want a clusters up the screen. Would love to go back to the drop down list instead of this scrolling.

Add Christmas decorations to the back of the car icon
Hello,
I think it would be suitable in the Christmas spirit to add for example a Christmas tree in the back of the pinkup truck or other Christmas decorations to some cars.
Thanks :)

input from screen
when a screen for choice pops up, your choices are in boxes that are up and down from each other. when you go to make a selection and you’re traveling a bump can make you select the wrong choice. My suggestion is to make the choices with boxes on the left or right that way a bump won’t give you the wrong answer.

Driving Police
I've got a feature idea I'm sure everyone appreciates. An addition to the cop reporting that includes ones driving on the road. You know how there's no "report ahead" as you speed a little, then the car you pass up you see the cop car features better and slam the brakes? Add a reporting feature that says something like -"Caution police driving ahead" Still there? -And have it set to ask every 5 miles on the highway Does that make sense?

Keep things the same
Keep the interface the same changing the user interface should not change the only thing that should change is the map updating not the interface if someone wants to see a quick overview the button should already be visible and easy to tap on most likely the person using the app is the driver having to stair at their phone and find buttons or click more than one button just to see the route as a whole quickly instead if of having to search and look for things you should also put up a notification pop up when you first…

Mistake in the app implementation
Mistake in the app implementation for users in Cyprus as now a user cannot add any icons on the map.
This change was implemented to deter users from pointing where police radars were on the map but now no icons at all can be placed which beats the purpose of the app.

Refined UI
This may not pertain to most people, but for those of you who use the Waze app in the landscape view may have similar issues. First of all, the alert box for train crossings and red light cameras takes up approximately 40% of the bottom of the screen, as well as the direction arrows information covers the speed display. Some of the other icons are piled on top of each other. If the UI were to be more like the Android auto version of Waze or Gmaps it would be much better and easier to use.

Compass
Please make the in-app on screen compass point in the direction of travel. It's 180⁰ out of sync (SW points NE), except for N and S.

Re-introduce a feature. Back button (on android) re-centers map.
This is actually not new, but a feature I (and many people I've talked to) want back.
In the past, when you would roam around the map to check whats to come on your route, you could just press the default back button on android and it would re-center the map.
After recent updates, it doesn't do that anymore, and instead shows the dialog for shutting down. So not only we have to cancel that, but then find the button on screen to click to re-center.
Please, add it back.3 votes -
Six essential functions when using apps on mobile phones
Recommendations for the Waze app:
1. Add setting item: Speed adjustment is a slider from 0 to 15km/h to compensate for slower speed compared to reality due to gps latency
2. Change the current speeding warning threshold setting menu to a slider with values from -20km/h to 20km/h so that users can choose the appropriate warning threshold for each need.
3. Add voice speed warning sound option
4. Add option to Repeat overspeed warning: (Off, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds…)
5. Increase the size of the speed indicator and speed limit to match mobifone navigation…3 votes -
Add back animals on the side of road
The alert for “animals on the side of the road” was extremely helpful for warning other drivers of the danger and also knowing animals could be on a road you are traveling on. It was an alert and recently removed.

When entering a traffic alert, if we enter "standstill" you should be marking the traffic on the map AHEAD of where we are not behind us.
When entering a traffic alert, if we enter "standstill" you should be marking the traffic on the map AHEAD of where we are not behind us. We click "standstill" when we hit the traffic not after we left it.

Add buttons on the home screen of the user who reports UR
My suggestion to try to reduce the number of unresolved URs without answers.
When an editor requests more information about a UR, make three buttons appear when the reporting user opens the app:
Collaborate now: user clicks to enter the requested information;
Collaborate later: user clicks and can use the app and the buttons appear the next time the app is opened;
Don't collaborate: user clicks and the UR is deleted from WME and the editor receives a notification that the user did not collaborate.
The buttons will appear whenever the editor sends a message or the user clicks to…
