an early set of closed roads or road constructions can help Waze compute the road avoiding those places.

As a user in France, highways (A40 particularly) are sometimes closed by evening . night to do the maintenances work roads. But they are never indicated on Waze :-((

Could you ask the highways authorities to give you the planned work roads to calculate the itineraries according to them ?! that would be SO USEFUL !!!

Aquí en Perú se hacen muchas obras en la vía pública , se cierran muchas calles y se reparan muchas pistas .... Su aplicación no detecta esos imprevistos , solo si alguien los reporta y muchas veces los usuarios no son tan colaboradores .... Esto podría solucionarse y convertir a Waze en una herramienta primordial para cualquier peruano ... Podrían hacer convenios con los municipios y darles herramientas que puedan utilizar para modificar el mapa en tiempo real , por ejemplo, si hoy el municipio de lima hará una obra en una avenida o calle de 3 pm a 10 pm , podrían permitir al municipio anticipar eso en la app y así ayudar a los usuarios a no quedarse estancados al momento que se cierren dichas calles al hacer eso , convertirían a Waze en una herramienta primordial para cualquier peruano que tenga un auto , ya nadie usaría Google maps ...

Currently Waze seems to miss many blocked roads and road works (I encountered this problem again in the West End this morning). A bad example was Waze not knowing about a collapsed suspension bridge on an Italian motorway for at least a week while we were there not long ago, so we didn't know we had to take long diversions in the mountains. So could Waze have a 'road works/road closed' button in the system? And could your team assign some people to monitor the media for reports of major disasters etc.?
