Show cheapest gas station for your preferred fuel grade along Route
When you plug in the address for your destination comma a notification good pop up to show the cheapest gas station for your grade of fuel along that route. For rats over 300 miles. Multiple stations could pop up.

In search results you can set gas station sorting by price. Available at Settings – Gas stations – Sort stations by.

Add a feature to search along your route for the cheapest gas prices available. Maybe have a place where you enter in your fuel range and it checks along your route and suggest the best place to stop and fuel up.
Also maybe a button to hit to route you to a higher rated restroom in the area if you need to make a pit stop.

In many countries (Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Croatia and others I guess) there are governmental databases about gas prices. They're official, reliable and updated daily or very frequently.
I know that Waze is supposed to be a social app, but I think that it is pointless to rely on users where this kind of official data is available, at least in Europe gas prices tend to be outdated and misleading.
There are many apps that allow you to search for the cheapest gas stations based on this databases, so it is definitely doable.

Maybe list 5 to 10 lowest price gas stations along route along with distance. If I know I have 200 miles of fuel remaining I can plan my stop without constantly looking at fuel prices.

Text Revision: when you plug in your destination address, a notification should pop up to notify you of the cheapest gas station for your grade of fuel along that route. Routes longer than 300 or 400 miles could have options for displaying multiple stations at an estimate of 300 miles apart.
