Feedback
Actually, I don't have a real idea, I just want to give you guys a feedback. I'm a long time heavy user of Waze (3 to 4 hours daily), however It think that I'll have to stop using the app. Your last version was not developed for Android. Nothing is working appropriately, for real. The app cannot find any good route for me, idk if you guys changed the algorithm behind the searching process, but it is not good anymore. The app is shutting down all the time, so it is impossible to use it for 10 minutes without at least one restart.
I understand that you developed based on IOS systems, however you have to work with low capacity of parallel processing devices, such as Android systems. All interactions on this version are heavy and uses huge amount of RAM.
Please, rethink this version, maybe creating a light version of Waze for Android.
I love Waze, for real, I'm really thankful for all the support you gave me until now and I'll hate having to delete the app :(
I'm from Brazil, and I can tell you, many users are leaving Waze to Google Maps again around here.
Thanks for reaching out. Please note this platform is dedicated to ideas and suggestions for the Waze app. If your idea is for a Community platform like the Waze Map Editor, please submit it through the Community forum. If you need help using Waze, please click here to reach the "Waze support" page.

"Visible Police Trap" Icon
Everyone clicks this, even if it is a cop who has his blue lights on -> already pulled someone over or assisting in a wreck.
Waze needs an option of "Visible Police - Lights ON" or "Visible Police - Lights OFF". -

I think Waze should let us know if the destination location is on the left or right upon arrival.

My suggestion is to add “erratic driver” posting to warn others.

It would be great if I could search a rout, live, from somewhere other than my current location. My husband is stuck in traffic trying to get home so it would have been helpful if I could have advised him what the problem was and/ or alternate routes. I usually prefer Waze to Google for up to date information but here Waze is sadly deficient.

Just a suggestion. Could waze include the direction of the lanes available just like how google maps does it?

It wpuld be amazing if you added crime rates/security ratings of neighborhoods. I have been directed through some very sketchy, rather deserted nad/or skeevy neighborhoods in both Brooklyn and Mexico City after dark. Faster is not always better.

Google Maps is superior. Why? You can grab a point on the route, drag it to your preferred route and it will then track your preferences rather than Waze's preferences. Think about it.
Most Waze features are super ... but that one deficiency (and it is a deficiency) simply needs to be solved.
It would also be good if we could disable seeing silly things like MODERATE TRAFFIC or HEAVY TRAFFIC. I want to see STANDSTILL but not the others. -

Can't wait repeatedly for minutes for recalculating route or recalculating route messages. Waze used to be responsive not take an eternity to show routes. Also my saved address screen has been blank several times.

I've used waze for around 4 years now and have realized over the last week how unintuitive it really is so am going to not use it anymore. A railroad by my house has been closed down for 5 days now and has caused a 20 minute detour. Every day over the last five days I have assumed that the railroad was fixed because waze had me going that way. Nope, still not fixed. Isn't this the exact type of situation that waze is supposed to avoid? Why on earth after 5 days of this road being completely blocked has waze not realized that there should be alternate routes given to drivers on this road? It's pitiful and shows how stupid the algorithm or data behind this app really is. You've lost me as a user and probably everyone else writhing a 5 mile radius that uses this app as this is a MAIN ROAD IN ATLANTA.
