Being able to report an incident from anywhere
I would like the ability to report an incident from anywhere on the map. i.e. If I am driving down the road and I see an accident, but because I am driving, I am not able to report it at that moment. If I pull up to a red light, I would be able to zoom in on the map on the app and report it. I have tried to do this before, but, I just wound up reporting an accident of where I currently was instead of where I was zooming in on the map. I believe this is much safer since we shouldn't be on our phones while driving.

To be able to report an issues before you set off on your journey or if you know of any major issues on the map I.e major flooding or you know of roads closed. This will hopefully help other road users.

This suggestion box is for Waze Map Editor suggestions. It sounds like this suggestion should go in the Waze app suggestion box

This would be a complex UI change and would open the hazards reporting to abuse. Being able to report from your current location provides some integrity to the report. You can also use Google Assistant / voice controls within the Waze app to report hazards as you approach them.

Allow users to report an issue up to 2km past the site of issue. This allows time to safely pass whatever it is you are reporting.

I don't always have time or ability to safely report an issue while driving. While it wouldn't be as fresh, a report of such things as standing water, downed branches, black ice,..etc would/could still be relevant and maybe save some hassle or even a life and heartache. I'd like to be able get to the office, open Waze and mark a map where a hazard is...with a time stamp so that users would know how fresh it is...and it could be verified by another user before becomoing "hot".

How often do we witness or receive information on events that change or influence navigating: flooding, closed roads, landslides, bad weather, works etc ... Waze has always allowed reporting only passing on the road affected by the event. Often help may come from those who learn the variation from a distance. A limit that should be changed.

You should be able to add an incident on a road you can see but may not be physically on
