speedometer alert
I would love the speedometer sound alert to have an option for keeping the sound on until you drop back down to the speed limit. No it chimes very softly once when you ecceed the limit and then nothing. There should be sound options and volume options too. With all the other alerts i often miss the small chime telling me im going to fast. Then theres no way to know when im back at the limit unless i keep looking at the little speedometer on the screen. The more i can do without taking my eyes off the road the better! Help!

Thank you for your suggestion! As you may know, Waze already displays a speedometer, including both your driving speed and the speed limit for the road you’re currently on.

The speedometer is a bit small, and in difficult traffic conditions/city driving etc. you really need to keep your eyes on the road. So audible signals are important. It also helps in situations where you get distracted by something - a conversation in the car or whatever else.
So the best thing would be to let us customize the warning sound as it is too subtle.
But in addition, we should be able to set an alert sound that keeps playing at adjustable intervals as long as you are above speed limit.
Add to this a beep with decreasing intervals as you approach a hazard of speed camera, and that should help a lot :-)

Reminder should have a selectable period (every "x" seconds) and a selectable sound effect (other than the currently too polite chime).
