Sleep alert

Dimming screen at not noticeable rate over an period and turn to maximum screen brightness. Create a shock to user, remind user to stay awake.

Or simply voice alert to remind sleepy driver.

And make it an option to turn the feature off.

    absolutely, this is a great life-saving idea for long rides, and the fact that, to use other do not sleep apps, the driver must have Waze off or not on top.

    Also, the alarm should go on a crescendo if not pressed within 2 seconds.

    have the option of adding a "do not sleep beep" at pre-determined intervals (30", 1', 1'30"...up to 5'). A "press here" button will appear at different locations on the screen at the selected times and the phone will beep. The beeping will cease once the driver presses the button. Beeping will go silent until the next pre-determined time.

    A driver planning a relatively long journey will put his waze on a specified long journey mode which one of its feature might include alerts not to fall a sleep and/or loose concentration at specified time intervals

    O Waze é provavelmente o mais popular aplicativo de GPS para dispositivos móveis, com isso grande parte dos usuários não só utilizam o aplicativo para se locomover em meio à cidade mas também fazem o uso do app em estradas e rodovias.
    Em estradas acidentes costumam ser extremamente perigosos e destrutivos, e grande parte deles são causados por desatenção e principalmente pelo sono, o aplicativos possui diversas ferramentas, porém não existe nenhuma ferramenta que mantenha os motoristas alertas, por exemplo, em caminhos muito longos e em estradas escuras o Waze poderia desenvolver uma ferramenta que alertasse os motoristas enviando algum som ou até mesmo uma vibração em seu dispositivo móvel assim fazendo com que o motorista desperte e não acabe dormindo no volante.
