Bus lanes - when you are allowed to use them - or is there any bus lane watch out for
I would love to see bus lanes in Waze. I live in London, driving 50 or so miles a day and I think it would help to get from A to B faster.
In London majority of bus lanes are restricted for certain times.
for example 07 am to 10 am and any other times anyone can use it. Or different times, the point is that they are not always restricted.
The way I see it, a small icon on the screen that resembles to something like a bus lane when the bus lane where you are is blue when you may use it, and red when you may not it.
Can be more advanced, a countdown of meters/yards/feet until it ends.
Even a timer if let say within 2 minutes the restriction you drive along one,if the restriction is in place then it counts down in red until such time the restriction has finished. However if you drive along and restriction coming up, the same thing happens.
Also it can contain information about bus lane cameras. The possibilities are endless really.
As for the data, such as where are the bus lane what are the restrictions, what times etc.
For London I can collect this information within 6 months if its not readily available.

I’m in West Yorkshire and the city centre’s such as Leeds, Huddersfield, Hull, York and Bradford have dedicated bus lanes there operated 24/7 but two local to me near Huddersfield have dedicated traffic lights to allow them to go before regular traffic. This isn’t a thing that cannot be marked on the editor I’d like to see them added or a road that can be marked for bus and taxi only.

This is a really good suggestion. Some bus lanes are not visible in the dark until it’s too late. Box junction cameras alerts too would be another good thing - some of them are traps

Agree, this is become a growing revenue stream for councils since a lot of cameras in London are poorly marked. For example, very short left turns at traffic lights for buses only, in operation 24/7.
If you have not driven the road before, easy to get caught out. A new type of camera for buses and lane guidance to not take the filter left (but go to the lights) would be a great help. -

A setting to avoid Taxi/Bus lanes for normal riders and to avoid “Area C” in Milan. Because if we enter in this zones we takes a contravention. For example if Waze tell me "turn left" and in that street there are only a taxi/bus lane for my direction I couldn't turn and the route must be changed

There are several bus routes in SoCal that have these lanes. They should be identified. Car pool lanes should also be identified.

Needs option for going down bus lanes and displaying bus lane cameras too.... had too many £60 fines
