and the ability to select what lanes are closed by using a row of checkboxes per lane, ie 2 checkboxes for duel carriageway, 3 for motorway and 4 for a smart motorway you mark the box the lanes that are closed unmarked are still open lanes and when reported it affects a 1 mile stretch of the road.
Two days ago, I was sat in queuing traffic on a three lane motorway for 1 hour and we where down to one lane due to a broken down vehicle been recovered and they closed two lanes while it was recovered using overhead matrix boards and they where been ignored and vehicles where still using the closed lane to get past in a roadworks zone with speed limit of 50mph

We plan to work on putting School Zone alerts in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you’ve got the latest version of Waze for all the latest features.
An error occurred while saving the comment This would be a good addition in the editor like junction boxes, you mark the schools drop off zone out with the box and set the hours of operation and when a waze user goes near or past it displays a warning school near by stay alert and the message only displays during the set hours it operates also turn the road colour to orange and show the school crossing sign on the roads near by or just the sign for school crossing during the operation hours.
