It would be also helpful to have an option to show what's available at the rest stop (like gas station, restaurant, WC, motel / hotel, shower etc.).

This would be so helpful, Specially for Long rides.

It would be interesting to see on display next 2 Point of Interest (POI) to be selected with time & distance
Exemple on highway to see on screen next 2 gas station A 4min/8km and B 18min/36km
POI outdoor be selected within a list, and display is optional

Please add rest stops and tell the distance to the ones on the route!

REST STOP on and off button and lack of feedback from Waze team updating us on status! Update us, please! So many repeat posts from users, nothing from Waze. Waste of time?

First post in 2012 for REST STOPS and still nothing??? This seems like it is overstating the obvious! A turn on/off would be ideal for when it is needed. Waze, what the heck is keeping you from adding ? Can you actually reach out to your users and update us?

I can't believe Waze doesn't have this feature. Either mark them on the map or, even better, categorize them so they can be turned off/on like other notifications.

Tis is a much needed function for long trips.

Should be able to turn on rest stops or truck stops, and services offered. There should be an options to turn this on for long trips so it constantly displays the miles to the next rest stop, and the next one after that. Sometimes your decision to stop is determined by how close the next one is.

There is an App called Trucker Path that does this to some extent, but very poortly, and focused mostly on trucker needs (i.e. truck partking). One that focuses on the non trucker, interstate traveler would be great.

As I alluded to, this should be a mode that can be turned on or off as it is not needed for most local travel.

There should be an icon for Rest Areas or at least a button to touch to show your next available Rest Area on your route. Currently having to use search option in google or siri. This is a must and can't believe you don't have this.

Add a "Driving preferences" switch to show rest areas or not. I know there are separate apps for this, but it would be so much nicer to have it built in.
