Release up to date BlackBerry version
The BlackBerry version is really out of date. Release a new version with the features of the iPhone version also optimized for touch devices.

Hi, depending on what Blackberry device you have, you can directly install or "side-load" the Android version of Waze, and I can report that the newest version (as at 30/03/2016) 4.0 works well on my Blackberry Z10.
I too would like to see a native BB OS10 version update.

The Waze app isn't eligible for my blackberry classic and I really want my Waze back! I used Waze for around three years on my iphones and it's the only GPS system I will use now, but with my new phone there's no app for me to download. :( please add capabilities for all blackberry phones!

Can you create a native BB 10 version?

Create a native Blackberry 10 OS app. The current android version does not work properly in the Z10

Bump. There are still plenty of BB10 users out there worldwide. It would be nice to get an update to Waze. Waze is great.
Latest android version appears to work 'ok' on a Z10. It's a bit laggy though. Please tweak it to run nice on a BB10 device and we'll be happy!

Yeah a native app will ensure that pretty much all BlackBerry users will download the application it's awesome even as an android port but seriously why not native

Why does waze require personal data access on the Z10?

I absolutely agree. Surely waze technicians are getting feedback from all the BB Z10 devices that are submitting crash reports at least once a day.
I love Waze and just missing the native BB10 support.
Thank you!

I second this request. I loved Waze on my android however the BB10 port needs some work.
A native version would be awesome.

Please make a native BB10 app. Z10 is quickly catching on. Everyone that I know who has z10 is using the Android port waze but it is still somewhat buggy. If you make a native BlackBerry waze app, you will be the main navigation application on all upcoming BB10 devices since there doesn't seem to be Google maps any time soon.

I'm running Waze on BB10 (Android port I assume) from the App World. Generally it is good. I have been using Waze extensively on my iPhone 5 before switching to the Blackberry Z10. On the BB version, I consistently get the wrong ETA for my routes. It always is 4 hours out. It appears that it is not correctly getting the right local time from my phone.

I have tried the Waze app for BlackBerry on my BlackBerry Torch 9800 but ended up removing it because I don't have a data plan and also because it doesn't look as nice as the Android and iOS versions. I'm hoping that they take the current app that they still have for the BlackBerry and update it so that it supports BlackBerry 10.

I heard they stop supporting it because of lack of users. I am sure they will make Waze for Blackberry again if the new Blackberry 10 catch on next year.

I just left Google Maps for Waze, and had the same issue with Google Maps, lack of TTS. Of course, there were other problems, such as the GPS tracking wasn't accurate, but that's another story.
My point is, I'm beginning to wonder if software developers feel as though it's not worth it to create apps for BB, because Android is the new thing. I think this does us a great disservice, as there are still millions of BB users. I myself may be a freshman college student, and use BB for the convenience of having the majority of my life in one place, but most of RIM's clients are businesses or government contractors; i.e., independent adults who travel and have a need for reliable, up-to-date software.
I find the lack of TTS for BB incredibly frustrating, and while that is the main issue I hold with the app, there are many other people who do use all the other features. It is important that all the features work. We absolutely need a major update. -

I totally agree. The Blackberry version is wa lacking and needs to be upgraded soon. I know I'm only 1 of many blackberry users, but even the facebook friends invite thing is broken. I would totally like to do the invite more people but I just can't with the app. Any chance there is a beta version for blackberry that I could help test with?
