Waze's whole selling point is that we all help each other out by reporting trafic, hazards, etc. I would expect it to be a priority to make it as easy as possible to do so.
Furthermore, laws banning the use of phones other than in hands-free mode are common and often poorly written leading to situations where using any touchscreen including an android auto head unit while driving could result in a ticket.

It is very dangerous to have to look away from the road, tap 3 or 4 spots, to report hazards. The more reports, the better waze is. As a user driven application, why are you making it dangerous for us to report the hazards that you depend on to make this app better

voice commands to report or acknowledge hazards is very important, far too many clicks are required at present to report a hazard making it dangerous to do as the driver.

One more vote here. Usually when there is a hazard, it is exactly the time when I do not want to remove my hands from the steering wheel. Yet, it is the best time to let other drivers know about it. As others, I am surprised this only has 32 votes - but I just found out about this request.

Voice based reports in AA and CarPlay is critical to reduce physical interaction with the head unit.

I have not been able to report several hazards when my phone is connected to my car as it is too dangerous to use the screen

This is a must have feature on Waze. Considering it has a safety implication, I'm surprised it's taking so long for this to be implemented. While voices for directions are getting 3k plus votes. A bit ridiculous.

Much like the other commenters I think this feature is necessary and cannot wrap my head around how the Android Auto integration isn't better seeing as Waze is now owned by Google, it's such a weird oversight.

PLEASE allow voice commands to report road hazards!!! I must take my eyes off the road too many times and for too long to report anything in real time. If anyone should know this, it should be you guys! Please address this asap.

+1 for this idea, but it doesn’t have to be exclusive to android auto— Waze should allow reporting of hazards by voice on all platforms. It’s ironic that the current system of reporting reporting hazards is actually hazardous to use. You should never have to take your eyes off the road and fiddle with a touchscreen.
