During a disaster, volunteers w disaster response groups are all over the nation and need to quickly connect. I would like to hook up our vols w you to get them to an emergency faster. Too many off them are left hanging around waiting on a way to get across the country, waiting on a plane slot, etc, when others are driving there anyway. I am helping out w Harvey and we use you ALL the time since, so it would be great to be able to hook you into our Red Cross, National Equine Disaster Relief, and FEMA, Samaritan's Purse, and many other similar orgs so that their vols have immediate access to each other through you.

Is that a responsibility of Waze? What would happen when because of one or the other error all Waze users worldwide would start automatically calling 911?
Waze is not integrated enough with the car to be able to determine with 100% you had a crash.
Waze is a GPS system, most new cars are equipped with emergency response systems that can with 100% accuracy report they had a crash. And even then they usually (right now) don't call 911 directly but they call the helpdesk of the car company.

Waze can save lives by calling emergency services using the phone in case of a crash.
I would be too easy for waze to know the car crashed because the speed will go suddenly from cruise to zero.
Waze can also use the acelerometer on the phone to know the car just crashed.
I can dial 911 and give the location of the crash to ambulances, maybe it can also share personal information like name, insurance company, blood type, allergies and other useful information

Like, a button for drivers report their problems as a car problems or some emergency and ask help for friends or closers drivers. Or a emergency button to call ambulance or police. Would be really good!

The ability to have quick call buttons - Maybe two button presses. First press will pull up a menu of common phone numbers, IE: Home, Emergency, 911 etc.

it would be useful if there was a personal emergency button which dispatches info/location to twitter and/or other services
