Please add the Rest Stops and alerts to the WAZE map.

Show rest areas as gas stations are available with one input albeit they are, no doubt, gas stations which pay Waze

"Ella" says there is no room on maps for this? Really? What "Ella" means is Waze makes no money from rest areas and showing rest areas would probably lower revenue for waze

Other mapping softwares include rest area/exit area information as you drive down a highway.

The information appears on the map and shows where the next exit is, and briefly shows what services are available there.

It’s helpful on longer trips where you may want to be maximizing your time on the highway. (For example, I may know that I have 50 miles left on a tank of fuel, but it’s not always clear if I need to stop immediately for fuel, or if there’s another service station 25 miles down the highway)

Rest areas ahead on the route would be a great feature to have.

Additionally, an option to have a tone when x-miles (5, 10,20) from a rest area would be good. Similar to the railway line warning. That way if you have to wake someone up to ask if they need a rest area ... you have enough time to do so (at 20-miles out).

It would be also helpful to have an option to show what's available at the rest stop (like gas station, restaurant, WC, motel / hotel, shower etc.).

It would be very helpful to see upcoming rest areas on Waze. With many older Americans and men getting larger prostates knowing how far away the rest areas becomes more important.

Rest areas should be on the report along the route. Report should include something like “Rest Area 5 miles ahead”

"Along route" is a feature offered on other navigation devices, so I know it is attainable. No one cares where a rest area, or any other category is that is behind you or miles off route.

Searching for "rest area" and having it show locations NOWHERE near your route is pointless. Seems like that should be a simple feature to implement.

Please add rest stops to your maps. This is very helpful to see when the next one will come up on a long trip

There are two critical items missing from Waze that are available on all other GPS mapping systems (including navigation in my 2014 car):

1) Waze should show the distance to the next rest area on major interstates and highways in the USA. It helps drivers know if they need to stop sooner at a normal exit or wait until there is a rest area soon. I currently have to run BOTH my car and Waze app for this info and it is not good. Especially when Waze is more accurate for directions and time to arrival

2) Waze should also add the option to maximize the use of major highways and interstates, showing the time difference between that and using back roads. This is a huge safety issue in a lot of places and most often will only save the driver 1-5 minutes

Show and alert rest stops at least 3 miles out

I really miss this feature. To have a list of upcoming Parkings, fuel stations, restaurants on the route, and the distance to them. Configurable.

"Navigate to the nearest public toilet" - It happened so many times I needed the toilet and I spent 30 minutes driving around all possible locations to find out they are closed!

Show rest areas and allow users set notifications for distances between rest areas or services (fuel, restrooms, food.) Driver fatigue is a significant contributor to vehicle accidents and some highways have few services or rest areas.
