Can we have an option to share a journey with another person accessable on android auto. At the moment i have to stop to share

It would be nice to send ETAs to friends that we are meeting through the Android Auto UI. It's there on the app, but not accessible from my car. Please add this feature so we can do that! It would be so convenient for them to get updates in case of traffic buildups. Thanks!

I would love to send ETAs to people that I meet so having this feature in Android Auto that would update them regularly would be extremely helpful. I'm surprised it's still not integrated yet.

I have used this feature (send ETA, route and live current location) in my old car on a daily basis to let my wife know when to expect me for dinner. In my new car (where I run Waze on Android Auto) I can't seem to find this feature.
If possibe, please add Google Assistent voice commands to share this.

currently you cannot share your ride when using Android Auto, you can only do it from the phone before you plug into the car, if you change destinations or Waze stops working thru Android Auto which happens alot, the only way you can share is to unplug the phone and redo your trip, share it then plug it in again

A number of features of Waze on mobile are missing on Waze Android Auto.
In particular, the possibility of sharing your journey.

Actually to share position, ETA and drive path when we are using Android Auto it's necessary to unplug smartphone, send link and reconnect.
Dangerous while driving, a disaster with wireless connection!
The suggestion is to put in the option menu of Android Auto interface a function to share with the preferred contact, optionally to break the runnig share.

Someone has sent me a location from it's waze app via the share function.
I've received the link https://waze.com/ul/hu0hqpew12
I click on and open it with waze.
As my phone is plugged to my car in AA with waze as the guiding app, it's sent there.
Waze AA then center the map on the link location, but no marker is displayed and there is no option to set it as a new destination (or step on the current trip).

I use the send ETA function all the time. This needs to be accessible while connected to Android auto. Without it, I'm probably going to have to switch to Google navigation instead, as they already have this feature.

עוד אופציה שלא קיימת בגירסת הרכב היא שיתוף נסיעה, הרבה פעמים נוסעים לפגוש מישהו ושולחים לו שיתוף כדי שיוכל לעקוב אחר הנסיעה, מאז שאני משתמשת באנדרואיד אוטו לא יכולה לעשות זאת וזה מאוד חסר!

Definitely agree with this oversight on Android Auto integration. Right now there is no way to share location or route with a contact once connected to a Android Auto headunit. Additionally, there appears to be no voice command to do this either. This is a key feature that should be added to Android Auto support.

It works if you use AA wirelessly, bit once you plug it in, three option is gone.

Currently you can share you journey with a contact but the android auto version of Waze doesn't support that. This would add that feaute is so you can set your location then share that with a contact if you wish to do so.

Sharing ETA is really missing from Android Auto. Pls. add it.

This is a big feature that is missing for me - when stuck in traffic being able to update the family when using Android Auto.

This is the only feature I am missing when switching from my phone to Android Auto!

I also would like to have this function available in the Android auto version.
