Send eta in Android auto

Really looking for the send eta feature as I have a vehicle that you can connect with Android Auto.

Please note we're changing the status of this suggestion to Currently Not Planned, since we finalized our plans for 2024 and this idea won't be implemented this year.

We hope to include it in our plans for later down the line.

    Sharing ETA is really missing from Android Auto. Pls. add it.

    This is a big feature that is missing for me - when stuck in traffic being able to update the family when using Android Auto.

    It would be nice to have the ability to share my drive when connected through my Ford Focus RS headunit on Android Auto. I can share my drive on my phone but once connected to android auto, the option disappears.

    This is one feature I use all the time from the app...that is missing from the Android Auto interface. Please add this.

    This is a huge limitation. I love the ability to be tied into my vehicle and hands free, but I need to be able to send my wife and kids my ETA with all the Atlanta traffic.

    Please add the eta, it's the best way for me to quickly let my wife know when I'll be home from work in traffic.

    Yes just bought a new car and my wife loves the eta part of waze so she knows when to have dinner on the table!

    Google Maps +android auto can share route. So should not be hard to get it for Waze

    ETA sending is valuable. It's far too cumbersome to do the sending from the mobile device first, then plugging in.

    Please prefer Waze but on long trips we need to keep family updated.

    Please add this! It is extremely annoying to have to start nav on my phone, send ETA, THEN connect the USB cable to activate Android Auto.

    This is absolutely necessary and will be a knock out criteria for other navigation software!

    Yes please.. you can however start your route. Send the eta from your phone and afterwards connect it to AA to send your eta. But this is so annoying. You should be able to use this feature in AS aswell
