There needs to be a warning or verification process if an ad is clicked and the destination is changed!!!
The other day, I must have accidentally hit an ad and it changed my destination. There was no warning that my destination was changed. There was no "Click here again to confirm change of destination" warning. It just changed. I had no idea where I was going so I simply followed instructions. Because I didn't know where I was going I had no idea I was going completely in the wrong direction. I didn't realize it until it brought me to my destination. A Red Roof Inn 20 minutes from where I was supposed to be...causing me to be over 20 minutes late.
That is NOT OKAY! I understand the need for ads. I was in ad sales for 10 years so I even understand the concept of an ad with a "click here to go there now" feature.
But there needs to be a fail safe, especially if it is that easily swiped. (My phone was in my cupholder and I definitely didn't touch it with my finger. I might have hit it by accident but certainly nothing that should have been considered a click.)
I'm not an app/technology type person but even I can think of at least two fixes here that would probably be fairly easy and still advertiser friendly.
1 - You have to confirm when you delete an email. Why can't you make it necessary to confirm a destination change? That way, if someone accidentally hits it, they probably won't accidentally hit the confirm button also.
2 - Have the voice audibly say "Destination Changed". If someone hears that, they simply go back and reset their original destination.
I like Wayz over other apps. But if this every happens again I will be forced to use other services from here on out and I can't be the only one this has happened to.
