Please do not route onto Guinea Road in Brewster
Very often when traveling north on I 684 towards Brewster, NY, WAZE will suggest, as the quickest route, a route that travels on Guinea Road in Brewster, NY. However, Guinea Road, esp. in its southern portion, is a very narrow road, with no dividing line, and many blind spots. I do not like it when I am the only car on it; if scores of drivers used it, it would even be more dangerous.
If traffic is backed up going north on I-684, a safer alternate route would be to exit at exit 8, take a left on Hardscrabble Road and continue on Route 22 into Brewster. Maybe a minute extra, but much safer. I also think that in Winter, Guinea Road would be much less maintained than Route 22.
