PLEASE make my position on the map “centered” on my iPad screen in landscape mode!
While using the app in landscape mode my position on the map is always on the bottom right of the screen and not in the bottom “center” of the screen. I really love this app and all of its features, but I just can’t learn to live with it this way! It’s driving me insane to the point that I don’t even want to use the app at all and have been searching for other nav apps. I really want to use Waze but I just can’t stand the position being off centered the way it is. I just can’t make sense of it at all.... Can’t there be an option to place your position in the “center” at the bottom of the screen if you prefer that instead of offset to the side cutting off half of the map to the right of your position. It really just makes zero sense to me and I hope that it can be addressed soon because I’m literally on the verge of just deleting this app because of it.

Great thinking! The issue you raised has been addressed in a recent redesign. Hope you like it!

Same issue on iPad. I can only use Waze if I don’t have a route selected. Otherwise some or all of the route stays off screen and I can only view map views left of the route.

Need to sort this out. You miss half of the available map with it being off to the right in landscape mode.
Can’t believe this hasn’t been fixed yet!!
Come on Waze… Google, let’s get it centered! -

issue was gone for a while, at least not consistently every time. recently, it came back. consistently. when switching to another app and back to Waze, or when Waze is added to an existing app as a split screen, the vehicles position is immediately pushed to the right of the screen.

The missalignment of "My possition" is a major issue on a 8" Galaxy andriod tablett. "My position" is shown in the top of the screen in 2 D landscape mode with noth up meaning that I can not see the route when I drive north.

Car show on the right side of screen and it's so irritating compare to google map. Before it's look nice when the car is center screen when landscape mode.

Can you please fix this or at least put a toggle option to switch to center!

It’s only half fixed. The position centers on the screen now until the app is interrupted…switch to another app, display sleeps, etc…and when you come back you’re way off center to the right again until you quit and relaunch Waze. Very annoying especially if you are driving East.

Thanks! It was one of my top priority issues too. Has anybody tested it yet? Is it fixed as per Ella’s last message?

Just make a toggle in the settings to center the navigation vehicle while in Landscape Mode.

100% agree with the new Samsung Fold Phones we want to use our phones un-folded and in Landscape Mode. I created a ticket in Waze and they said they already know about it. But apparently they have known about it for years, really?!?!

How has this not been fixed yet. Wow. This is wildly annoying to drive with when everything is pushed to the bottom right.

Agreed. This has been a problem for years that they ignore without explanation. The fact that the turn-by-turn navigation box is anchored to the upper left is no excuse to permanently move the “center” of the display to the right, since the text box is normally collapsed.
