Currently I work in the Guatemala Congress developing new laws for Infrastructure, we would like to build tunnels in the Metropolitan Area. However, we required demand information in order to make the tunnels feasible and economical viable. Current origin-destination survey methods are inaccurate, expensive and take time.
Waze information would be valuable for the Government so the travel percentage of a sample may be projected to the car counting machines. Therefore, a complete survey for traffic optimizations tunnels could be done in days. Is there any possibility that the government may access some of the Guatemala traffic data? Or do you have a service in order to have it?
