Edit favorites! One can't change or erase them after they're created.
I have a change in a favorite's address, but I simply can't edit it. Then I created a new one, but yet, I can't delete the old one!
You can change name for your favorite, delete it, or move in the list.

This is a great suggestion but also contrained by the tiny limit on number of favorites a user can have. There are votes spread out across hundreds of separate requests to remove the 99 limit on the number of favorites. Everyone: Please also vote to remove the 99 Fav limit here: https://waze.uservoice.com/forums/59223-waze-suggestion-box/suggestions/3910753-make-favorites-list-unlimited-and-allow-sharing-of

It is January 2019, and it still is not possible to delete or change anything in the Waze app favorites list! Does Waze care about its usability?!

As we used to say at the small tech company where I was a partner, "It's not a bug; it's a FEATURE! Anyway, some helpful person gave us the solution which was hidden in the WAZE program itself: Swipe the incorrect address to the right and a little screen appears letter you send that address to the trash. In this day and age of high tech stuff, the programmers need to remember we are not all techno-gods!

Please consider modifying how to update the work location.
I went to location, then to favorites, at the bottom, found work and tried unsuccessfully to change my work location. I kept clicking in every possible variation and it never let me change my location but wouldn't tell my WHY.
Please consider two possibilities. Add feedback that editing Work and Home locations is done in the profile screen. Maybe link to there.
Or allow editing at that location. -

It's a feature of Waze. Once Google bought them, they are now monitored by the goverment. And government needs to know where you are and what your favorite locations are. They sell this data to Russians in exchange for vodka and oil.

I absolutely couldn't delete by swiping. I solved the problem by downloading Waze to my iPad and making the changes there. The changes migrated over to my Droid phone. Problem solved

I was able to delete old Favorites using the Navigation History, which is fine, but why does Waze show an Edit function in the Favorites if it isn't usable? Make it active or get rid of it, unless the ultimate goal is to cause exasperation, in which case, Congratulations! Success is yours.

Thank you for this. The instructions in WAZE do not work. Someone needs to let them know.

The comment below is pretty much correct, but there is one hitch to this method. If you have deleted all the locations in the Navigation History, but you still have favorites you have to launch navigation to each favorite one at a time as if you want to drive to that location. Once you initiate navigation to a Favorite it will appear in your Navigation History where you can Right Swipe and delete it. Deleting it from the Nav History will also delete it from your favorites, but it's a lot of work if you have a lot of favorites saved, because it's a process that can only be done one favorite at a time. Hope that helps.

Removing a favourite is a bit odd in the latest update - you remove it from the NAVIGATION screen, not from the FAVOURITES list:
1. Click the car icon to bring up the navigation screen
2. In the list, do NOT click on favourites. Scroll down and right-swipe a recently-visited location.
3. The (i) and (m) rash icons appear. Hit the Trash icon.
4. A window asks if you want to remove it from the "Navigation List". This is incorrect: clicking REMOVE will not only scrub incorrect from recent history, but also from FAVOURITES.5. Visit Favourites and confirm it's gone.
There doesn't appear to be and ny way of removing it from favourites itself, the edit button simply permits reordering. You'll need to have that favourite appear in your navigation list first before using the above method.
Android version; hope that helps.

Still cannot change or delete old favorites even after this new update, swiping to the right just launches navigation, and the new layout is too cartoon like, this is ridiculous and inexcusable since they were bought out by Googleyears ago, they also removed the custom colors

Swipe to the right the favorite you want to delete and a trash appears, just tap the trash can.

I had very same problem,
To delete favorite, go to favorite list, swipe to the right very quick over the one your want to delete, three choices will fly out from the left, one of them is a trash can, press on that, favorite is gone, work ok on my IOS, hope this help
