Soon most cars will be plugin electric. Please make Waze EV literate. Instead of preffered gas type have charger type. Make search able to find nearest charger. Help drivers save the planet.

Kenbaar maken van de laadplekken op de kaart tijdens het rijden. Voor de elektrische auto's wordt deze informatie steeds belangrijker en naar mijn idee kan Waze hierin de elektrische bestuurder goed voorzien

Why does the app on iPhone offer EV as vehicle type and only fossil fuel as fuel type. Doh!!?????
Please also show chargers on the map and give the ability to remove petrol stations.

I suggest having WAZE EV mode

Version 1:
In this mode the track will show the fast charging positions around the entire length of the track and the distance to them.
The driver decides on the basis of his battery percentage which charger to choose.
WAZE allows you to launch the operator app that will allow the driver to check with the available position, and also activate it.

Version 2:
Add an indicator with the position available or not.

Version 3 (eliminates version 2):
Once it selects a charger, WAZE saves it the charging position for the estimated time window it will arrive (and for half an hour).
Another driver will not be able to select the charging position if it falls on the same time window.
WAZE will update your arrival times and loading time window every 10 minutes.

Version 4:
The position can be activated from WAZE without opening the operator application.

Version 5:
The driver will update in the settings the power consumption data -% electricity / km
When setting a route, you can specify the current battery%.
WAZE will build a route that will include the charging station according to the calculation of power consumption data and the final distance.

Add "Electric" as fuel option and EV stations with prices and loading speeds in to Waze.

Should have charging stations pinned on planned routes when electric vehicle is being operated.

Food for thought - WattsUp is worth a look, on all major mobile platforms - not as good as Waze but has the missing functionality.

This has been a feature request since June 2018????!!! Any updates would be greatly received from the EV community that help make Waze the great community sponsored and fueled applications that it is! Thank you in advance.

This is by far the biggest update needed as ev cars are taking there place on the road including mine .please please make this happen dev team
