Será que existe na aplicação forma de se ver os postos de carregamento para veículos eléctricos, isto porque já existe muitos condutores com veículos eléctricos e não querem saber onde se envontra o posto de abastecimento de produtos fósseis, mas sim de locais de carregamento para veículos eléctricos.

Currently you have categories that one can search for along route such as gas stations. But this is useless for EVs. We need to search for EV charging stations along route. Volvo EVs have built in Google Maps that offer this feature. But if we want to connect Apple CarPlay and use Waze, it loses the nice feature of being able to easily locate a charging station along route. I prefer Waze over GoogleMaps but I may not anymore with an EV car.

With EVs becoming way more popular, we need to be able to locate the charging stations. Other navigation systems can add the charging stations locations to the navigation, but Waze is behind on this!! If I there is a button for 1 kind of fue that moves cars in traffic, it should all be available!

I feel like they'd need an abstraction layer for this to work properly in code. By which I mean you'd have to first choose if your petroleum or electric where those choices determine where you search for gas stations or EV charging stations.

I disagree with the comment to remove preferred fuel type. If my car requires premium, I'd rather Waze show me stations with premium and their prices. In an ideal world, the prices would be more up to date than they are in reality (saw some prices that were 60 days old).

Although EV charging points are displayed on the map, there is no category to find nearby charging points similarly to how petrol stations are shown. That would be handy especially when you want to add a stop to your existing trip and want to find the closest charging point based on your route as well as know how much time it will add to your journey to navigate to the Charger.
As a second point, it would be nice to be able to select Electric as the Preferred Fuel Type in the settings. At the moment, you can select Electric for the vehicle type and Waze will display fuel saving routes but there is no option on the Preferred Fuel Type which doesn’t make sense.

We need a similar service for electric cars to the one that already exists for gas stations.
More and more electric cars are coming into traffic and in order for Waze not to lose these drivers, we need to be a better service for charging stations.

My proposal is a similar service to that of gas stations. The user must be able to choose between different types, e.g. Tesla, CCS EU, CHAdeMO and Type 2. There are also many different brands that offer charging stations. Here in Sweden, there are over 20 different operators, e.g. Tesla, Ionity, E.ON, Recharge, InCharge, Virta.
