Please let users add road humps and potholes.
Road humps and potholes can be dangerous as they may cause accidents or damage to vehicles. They are not often visible especially during rain or at night.
Great thinking! The issue you raised has been addressed in a recent redesign. Hope you like it!

I thought the same thing, but I believe (based on looking at the map after posting), it records the location as soon as you hit the UPDATE button. All the stuff afterwards is sent along with the correct location to be added.
I will say that it IS dangerous to have so many menu presses - need a way to have 1-touch or 2-touch selections for the most common/important ones.

When “updating a map” across roadkill and or a pot hole the location isn’t makes until the last page. For instance: driver hits the pot hole., presses “the update Map” on bottom right, HAZARD, ON ROAD, POTHOLE RODADKILL…,SEND. The Location should be at the initiation of the fix and not at the end. If your driving 55mph your a quarter mile away already before the location is on the map.

Potholes are expensive and municipalities do not like to cover the property damage, neither do insurance companies....
You should add the feature to report a pothole and send it to the county/state responsible.....this will help people avoid rim damage (like we did to the tune of ~$400) and so that municipalities can't deny the claim of damage with the lame excuse that "they didn't know" like Winston-Salem, NC did to us...
Waze would save so much money for their users!

Love this idea. Then as a public service provide that pothole information to the municipality responsible for that road.

Potholes don't go away...not quickly anyway. And drivers are tired of reporting them everyday and along the same routes we drive...
Here's the problem - when there is no report, I think the problem has been resolved - only to suddenly be swerving around trying to save my suspension.
Please review the pothole policy and how long the alerts stay on the map - at least 7-14 days, please?

Great idea
Being able to mark the speed hump with the recommended speed (20kph) should also add to the time taken. Then a quicker route may be provided. Or if you have a low-profile vehicle, this may be something you want to avoid as much as possible. -

can detect road surface in general.
Battery drain not really issue when on charge.
Sensors can be correlated using kalman filter, smartphone has accelerometers and microphone, even with music microphone correlated with accelerometer can confirm low frequency thump caused by pothole. Also rapid slowdowns and other maneuvres around suspect pothole will be recorded and correlated with other users, it is just matter of amount of data and AI used . -

some towns have a website for residents to report the location of potholes that need to be fixed. Waze already has a pothole-reporting feature, which would make it easy for towns to see and fix!

In Ukraine we have a lot of potholes, especially after last winter. But for adding pothole on road need to pass not a short route, choosing different categories, what isn’t so comfortable when you’re driving.
Suggestion to move potholes to the root routes in CarPlay, like for example, Police item is or at least add ability to configure list of items in root routes. -

Some roads have multiple potholes on them, many of which are deep and very dangerous. I think it would be wise to add a feature that suggests multiple potholes as an option under potholes.

Postar buracos nas vias em um clique facilitaria muito, na minha cidade na época de chuva isso e muito constante...

Have a mark current location onscreen button so you can retrieve GPS location of potholes in freeway to report to transportation department.

Yup! The average time of a Pothole in Puerto Rico can last months and is very annoying to report the same pothole twice or three times a Day. This report should last longer until another user reports it “as not there”

Car enthusiast yearn for an application feature that will allow them to navigate routes with least potential damage to their beloved project cars. With lowered cars, we would benefit from having knowledge of upcoming potholes, uneven surfaces, bumps and humps and steep drive ways or entrances. This could be a "select vehicle type of option" where you change it to "low car", but there is a bigger opportunity to be realized in the car enthusiast community. To become the app of choice for clubs and enthusiasts by adding options that allow car clubs to send predetermined routes, share playlists, customize icons and some other options.

Pothole Reporting
Allow 1 touch pothole reporting with a second, 1-touch option button asking; "Do you want to be part of a class action e-petition that is mailed directly to the municipality responsible for repairing and maintaining the roads that just damaged your vehicle?Municipalities have very limited responsibilities for their existence . Infrastructure repairs and maintenance are paramount for community welfare. Safe roadways are assumed in America. Alternatively, why would anyone pay the additional taxes on gasoline to have the same roads they have in tax free countries? Municipalities always deny property damage claims and force citizens to sue them for recovery.
Mass reporting of the same, damaged roadways byway of an, E-petition registering IP addresses for signatures provides for large class action lawsuits to bring Municipalities compliant with road repairs and timely maintenance. Who is monitoring municipality spending of tax monies collected for road repairs? Where's the accountability? Clearly, in San Diego County, CA our roads parallel those in Tijuana. Unfortunately, we pay about $2/gallon more every time we fill our tanks so we can pretend that our roads are superior while they destroy wheels, tires, suspension, spoilers, etc.

We are searching for an app that does this for UK. Love waze but it annoyingly constantly send us down roads with fierce speed humps. Please prioritise this.
