Distance units
The Waze client appears to use three types of unit for distance reporting, miles, decimal fractions of miles and feet.
In the UK we generally use two units for road distance, miles and yards. We do not measure road distance in feet, I measure the size of my bedroom in feet but not the length of my road.
Also "point one miles" doesn't mean a lot to me or many other people I'd imagine, not to mention that it is shockingly poor grammar.
Please can we have a UK units option, that supports miles, half a mile and yards. Thank you.

Allow hybrid distance units, ie. Distances in km and speed limits in mph

I've just returned to the UK from a holiday in Israel. I have to change the distance units manually both in the UK and in Israel. Could this be picked up automatically? It's not very convenient because you only realise they are wrong once you are driving.

I cannot cope with feets for car navigation. It's only one reason I preferred others than Waze.

Agreed - feet are useless units on UK roads

Miles and yards are the standard distances used on UK roads, satnavs and roadsigns. Feet aren't intuitive.

Please allow miles/yards as giving distances in feet spoils what is otherwise n excellent satnav.

How hard would it be to have the option of Km or Miles and fractions of, for UK users .
Feet is used in the US.
They may be used to that but we in the UK are not -

Have been using Waze for some time now and becoming increasingly frrustated with head in the sand stance from Waze with regard to how distances are perceived in the UK. Feet as a measure is used for small distances. For larger distances we have used (and still use and understand) Yards!
We used to run the 100 yard race at school so we older people can visualise what 100 yards is!
The youngsters now run the 100 metre race at school so can visualise what 100 metres looks like (indeed very similar to 100 yards!) They do not run the 328 feet race - just the 100 metre race.!!
Come on Waze it ia about time you got into the 21st Century, please give us Yards or even Metres when selecting Miles as the Distance Units.
I have been using Sygics because of this very feature and the app is starting to grow on me. Please do something about this Waze and you will hang onto your loyal UK user base!

Feet as a reference to distance means nothing in the UK, Please include Yards as a reference.
We had the 100 yard race at school so we know what it looks like! We never referred to it as the 300 feet race!
Just tried Sygic which uses yards, so much easier to understand!

Give the capacity to a user to select the units (miles or Km) separately for distances and speed. As an example, some European users in the UK are used to navigate in Km but the speeds limits are set in miles. The actual settings will not let you have different units set for speed and distance. I believe this easy feature will be very welcomed by many users.

I agree. Feet is weird they should change it to yards so that we can tell exactly how far until we have to turn!

Please think about an option to have yards (not feet) as distances. So in UK = Miles + yards (or even Miles + metres).
We do not think of using feet over long distances!
