I’m 100 percent in support of a Dash-cam feature. 🙌

I got myself a Dashcam from Idigital, I paid $15 for it. But I totally agree with you, if Waze could add a dashcam whilst driving it would really be epic, I would pay …$15 .. for that feature for sure, but even better if it were free, I’m savy with money, and a dash-cams great for protecting your journeys, etc.

A dashcam feature that uses the wide lens camera, most users keep the phone on a dock that could record very well dashcam footage. I personally would like that and I think many others do

Use the camera function of the phone to act as a dashcam, instantly saving all videos to the waze cloud.

With dash cams growing in popularity I think a Waze cam offering would be a great idea. It could be embedded with analytics to try to auto detect hazards such as objects on road or stopped vehicles. When the driver stops driving, the Waze app on their phone could then show them pictures of what it detected using analytics and ask the user to verify/confirm those items. Hopefully you guys can do something like this in the future!

It will be nice to further develop this application to be able to record forward trip and passengers voice, this will help make life better for safety, car insurance, accident investigation and help to locate lost car with passenger in this unsafe world now.

Identify the Phone Cameras know location.

A waze dashcam that picks up, detects police and emergency vehicles and auto tags them to everyone's map hands free. It would have to be some great software. I think I have a way to do it..msg me William Hunt in columbus GA.

Do you mean that if your phone is on the top of your dash using waze it will also record the road infront? Cause that would be a good idea

Dash Cam Car Camera Auto Record Setting, So Every time automatically I Use Waze, the Dash Cam Auto Records the Journey, and Auto Delete Settings which auto deletes my Older than one month, one week, or one day Dash Cam videos.

2 way dashcam, save to anywhere, as many historical videos as you want :)

I use a separate Dashcam app that runs in the background with waze on top - life would be easier if waze incorporated its own Dash cam facility.

This cam corder is light on the mobile & synched with the waze on all its location. Very useful in cases of accidents where the incidents r all recorded on video.
