improve voice recognition
I assumed that Waze was using similar voice recognition engine to Google. But I have the worst time getting Waze to recognize my voice. It's not me nor my phone. I can say to Waze "Ok Waze report police ahead" and nine times out of ten it'll say "sorry I didn't recognize that". If I hit the home button (to bring up home screen and have Google Assistant take over) I can say Ok Google take a note report police ahead" and it'll correctly create a note "report police ahead"
I assume that Waze's voice recognition would be better than Google Assistant since Waze has fewer words/phrases it needs to understand.

agreed ... on my Pixel3 it is next to useless. In a perfect environment (no background noise) I can sometimes get it to respond to an "okay waze, report police", but driving in the car with road noise etc ... the best I get is the voice screen pop up and never recognize what I saw even if I shout at it! I had hoped voice control would let me use Waze a bit more on the motorbike, but I've had zero luck with my bluetooth headset .... Ok Google, and even Alexa work (about half the time) on the bike

I have a Samsung S3, and I have have the worst success with the voice recognition engine in Waze. Almost every time I have tried to use it, it asks me to repeat myself three times before it cancels. I do not have these problems with other apps (Google Now, S Voice, TouchPal, Robin). Is it possible to improve the voice recognition engine or allow the user to use a different one while speaking to the Waze client?
