Password Complexity
I would like to be able to use a more complex password. Currently, only three complexity levels are allowed: A, a, and 0-9. This security level is far too vulnerable given the sensitive information with in the app, eg addresses, phone numbers, etc. Please consider allowing several different character useage like punctuation, special characters, ASCII, ect. The modification should not be too difficult. Instead of defining what is allowed in the string just define the string to accept anything with the exception of min-max number of characters.
What say ye?

The password policy sucks in a great number of ways.

It's time to permit to have special characters in the password, i.e \<[]£$%&*+()|

Allow to save password with symbols like "@, !"

Also 16 characters as a maximum is very low by today's standards

The issue is special characters. Text needs to say " and no special characters (*&!@) etc. Had the same issue, removed special character and fixed. Also help center link does not work in some areas. Results in a 404 message.

Had to set up waze on an iPhone XS. I use a password generator to create passwords. The rules specified on the reset page after submitting a new password are not correct. "Passwords require minimum of 8 characters (16 max), and must contain at least one letter, one number or special character." I set my generator to exactly 16 or 12 or 8 characters with only 1 special character, numbers and upper and lower case letters, but nothing works. I've tried many, many times now with no success. This is absolutely crazy. It should not be so hard to reset a damn password.

It's silly for Waze to demand the following password requirements:
At least 8 characters
At least 1 lower-case letter
At least 1 upper-case letter
At least 1 number
At least 1 special characterIt's better for the password to be longer and say not require a "special character".
Waze is owned by Google, why not support Gmail OAuth? Or just use their waze account?
This set up will result in more ghosted support accounts.

Indeed. This week I noticed that passwords can't be longer than 16 characters. With a lot of people using password managers these days those restrictions are silly.

Instead request 2-factor authentication... including Xmpp Texting as a factor pathway.
