    apple ripped off this OPEN idea in ios8 :( as have many other "original" app developers

    better: allow every user to select which alerts to receive or NOT-receive

    this one "feature" discourages most who try waze on my suggestion

    It was encouraging people to use vehicle stopped on shoulder reporting for "points".

    IFF others have the option to NOT-receive those "hazards". There is far too much ATTENTION STEALING.... most irritating: vehicle stopped on shoulder

    Yes, the auto focus when not-touching is annoying. It makes it difficult to show a particular waze view to someone else.

    Don't whore your information for "free" stuff. But this will require you to abandon facebook as its costs are this steep.

    To be identifiable driving install GLYMPSE [sic], create a Glympse Group, and invite your friends to use your Glympse Group

    yup, it does report the active wazers nearby numerically.
