better: allow every user to select which alerts to receive or NOT-receive
vehicle stopped on shoulder is NOT occluding the lane
this one "feature" discourages most who try waze on my suggestion

It was encouraging people to use vehicle stopped on shoulder reporting for "points".
vehicle stopped on shoulder is NOT occluding lanes

IFF others have the option to NOT-receive those "hazards". There is far too much ATTENTION STEALING.... most irritating: vehicle stopped on shoulder

Yes, the auto focus when not-touching is annoying. It makes it difficult to show a particular waze view to someone else.

yup, it does report the active wazers nearby numerically.

Throttling prevents the cretinous from stealing driver focus through their incessant reporting of vehicle at side of road. If parked car is partially in a lane it is evidently not at the side of the road.
Eliminate that report from announcing and you'll likely have a few more advocates
