App Improvement
May I suggest to Waze that they:
1) allow people to submit photos of the area in app. Photo submission would clear up problems of trying to write out what you can clearly see as a problem.
2) make it easier for people to know what to click to report errors (I had a hard time finding the report issue one. The first few times, I marked the road as closed but then it would reappear until I finally found this reporting issue)
3) expand the days to resolve an issue with Waze from 8 to perhaps 14 days to relay and convey info regarding an issue
4) if the days aren’t expanded then alternatively, make a note that says “you only have 8 days to respond.” It can even be auto-reply for when you submit an issue. Waze can auto-send the reporter an emailed copy of their complaint and it will say “8 days to respond or matter will be deemed fixed and closed”... that kind of thing. Then add that response to every communication so that the person knows how much time they have left.
5) I didn’t even know Waze had an inbox until you sent me a message. So that was weird to find within the app. Maybe just have a mail folder 📧 that has a red number 3️⃣ indicating unread important message from Waze.
6) It if wayyy too hard to leave Waze feedback for the app. There is no link in the app to submit feedback. The Waze person helping me edit the map issue that I found actually send me the support link (which still wasn’t the right link) but it got me closer to the right place than the app.
